I saw DEAR EVAN HANSEN this week. Everyone between the ages of 13 and 21 needs to see this for starters. This will win so many Tony Awards next June. Ben Platt is a shoe in for sure.

Damn. This just makes me a lot happy and gives me hope that there are good people out there who'll embrace you despite all your broken parts. Thanks to Dear Evan Hansen I'm now less afraid of what people will think of me, because I know someday that won't matter anymore. My wife and I saw the show on Friday Nov 18th. I gave it 5 stars. After seeing Beautiful almost 2-3 years ago,Hamilton in 2015,Waitress in 2016,I wondered if this show could could come close to these other shows. This show is a masterpiece and should not be missed. I seem to always luck out with the best shows. The cast was amazing,as well as the emotional story. I did not want the story to end,but I gave a resounding ovation when the cast took their bows. My advice to all people thinking about seeing Evan Hansen is, LOCK IT IN!

I know it's years late, but here's why I love these two. Their chemistry is the BEST, both and off the stage! When they sing in studio, while doing interviews, or the actual show, their voices continue to show the passion. It's not that the other Evan's and Zoe's aren't talented, but I haven't seen any others share the same chemistry these two share.

To everyone saying 'The way Ben looks at Laura' here is why This was their song. A song that represented their characters love, a song that represented the last of the happy, the calm, the last of them too. Ben isn't looking at Laura because he's 'in love' (tbh he might be but she has a boyfriend) but this is a song that every night of every week they would go out on stage and sing, and perform and kiss. And he's smiling because he enjoyed relaxing for once. Not moving around really. Maybe he's smiling out of sadness because maybe this will be their last time singing together. Maybe he wants it to be perfect and then at the starting line he looks up and smiles because he knows it will be.

wish i was in a relationship where this song was the dynamic. such a simple and perfect picture to have of each other

when i first started watching this video, i was just smiling at how cute ben and laura are. then i just started crying. now, i know that i joke about crying when i listen to a sad song, but this is the first time i've truly ever cried while listening to a song (i'm crying while i'm typing this too.) i realized how much i've fallen in love with this musical. with the soundtrack. with the actors and actresses. with the story and message behind it. this has never happened to me before with anything. i've never fallen so deeply in love. i may love it as much as dodie loves la la land. and that's saying something. it started out as just a musical i started listening to because dodie and thomas recommended it. i really started liking it, and i quickly became obsessed. i realized you wouldn't find anything else like this out there. i've wanted to see it since i became obsessed, but now i really want to see it. and i never will because it's in new york and my family doesn't have the money or the time to see it, and frankly, i don't think they'd like to see a musical about a boy with social anxiety who pretended to be best friends with a dead kid who did drugs. but i love it so much. i don't think i truly fell in love with it until a few days ago. and now i will never see it. because i started loving it too late. just with anything else i'm obsessed with; i came too late. and it breaks my heart so. much. i don't think anyone understands how much this musical affects me. how emotional it makes me. just- ugh. i will never see ben and laura perform only us. i will never see ben flawlessly perfom words fail, for forever, waving through a window, etc. i will never see will, mike, and ben dance the stupid dance while singing sincerely me. i will never see mike and ben perform disappear. i will never see the touching performance of you will be found. i'll never see it in person, and be touched by it in person. i'm just a fan who joined too late. and that makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry. this musical affects me so much. i love it so much; and i don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
