Carrie proved that on Idol. All three judges tried to come up with a song Carrie couldn't do. And it didn't work. All Carrie was listen to a song a couple of times and she was able to do it.

OMG, I could not believe what I was reading when I saw Carrie's name alongside a Dear Evan Hansen song. OMG - Only Us is such a tender duet song but ooh this is giving me new life for the soundtrack! Yes!!! I wonder if Ben Platt is enjoying this rendition? Add in Dan + Shay's part and theres just a hint of country in this but still a pretty nice cover.

Already 300,000 listens and it's only 5 days old. Totally amazing. I listen to music all the time, partly because i review audio components and i was not even looking or expecting this song, it just gave me chills. It showed up on YT so i listened and was blown away. Matched up with the video, it was just perfect. Carrie is one of the best! And the 118 who disliked it, they should stop listening to music.

I was at your concert in Allentown, Pa 9/3/21 sitting in the second row center. You sang Two Black Cadillacs and you looked directly at me and waved at me twice when you sang, I was so excited and me and my boyfriend were surprised. My boyfriend sings at our church and he says you have a phenomenal voice and presence. This was my first concert ever that I was finally able to go and attend. I served in the Army and when you won American Idol. A lot of soldiers in Fort Hood, TX voted for you. I am a huge fan and you truely love what you do and I must say seeing you in person, you own the stage like Tina Turner.

As always Carrie sounds perfect. Like hearing her head voice here and there. She normally is full blast mixed or chest voice. And it shouldnt be a surprise with how awesome Dan and Shays music is, but damn he has a really pure voice. I can see why people complain its not twangy enough. But I would rather hear a real talented singer with a vocal range, the ability to tell a story, and lung capacity.
