To be fair, they don’t live as long as we do. So I guess that’s why. But it would be better if it stayed on for 48 hours instead. 🤔

@@theblackcatgirl7013 To add to the other reply, it also depends on where the polish is and what activities you regularly do. For example, my fairly cheap polish stayed on my toes for weeks because it was protected by shoes. Meanwhile, I do a lot of lifting with my hands and the gel polish on my fingers started chipping the first workday. My sister got a very similar manicure and did mostly desk work, so hers lasted much longer. Ideally polish will last several days at least. I've been wearing my current self-applied polish for a couple weeks and it's probably 50% intact now.

Yet it’s much better for EA to go back and “fix” some of the previous packs’ issues/complaints

tbf i already owned it and it's slightly better than making a new kit/stuff pack about pedicures and manicures

I tbh hated Spa Day before, I thought it was more of a stuff pack than game pack but this update makes me really want it

Get to Work needs it even more to be honest: expanding to world to actually look like an expansion pack people want to get, alien skill tree, either adding more depth to the new careers and locations (being able to check in, be a patient in a hospital and calling an ambulance in services, being arrested for shoplifting in retail, robbing houses or hacking private files and confiscating electronics as a detective, volunteering as a science experiment) or adding new active mode from base game if you have get to work (writer, business and videogame in a office lot) and retail system bug fixes. Plus a free base game patch for multipurpose lots enabling you to have a residence above or bellow your entrepreneurial business (retail/restaurant/vet clinic) or having community lots have multiple attribution (gymn + pool lot).

also I experienced a glitch with nail polish in kids! the side of their shirt will turn the color of the nail polish

I don't know if it's just my game or not, but when I tried to get two of my males Sims a manicure from the spa, they would go through the action but at the end their nails were the same (non existent). Don't know if it's because they're males or not but was really annoying. 😑 Hopefully it gets fixed.

Did you try repairing your game? A few of my neighborhoods had that missing parts issue but a couple repairs fixed it quickly

Oh, they did report about this on the bug forum. And you can add them, but there's a trick to it: if you go to the accessories top category (having all accessories listed) and remove all the tags, the nails should show up! Hopefully they'll add the nails to show up normally for merfolk

@@cupio-stardust nail polish doesn't wash off in water, or else way less people would be washing their hands. it's what makes it different than just using paint or a marker. however, it does last shorter than it could if it's in water for some time. still, mermaids should have nails.

Allowing vampires to walk in the sun is pretty cool, but it would make more sense if it were a full body soak. It helps that it's only temporary, so you can have your vampire friends attend a daytime event without needing to give them sun immunity. I've gotta see how regular the age reduction is because that is absolutely OP.

To be fair, their 24 hours is kind of like a few weeks. I mean, the longest weather span in the game is only 28 days, so I guess 1 month is our 3 months. 🤔

I’ve always wanted a mod, pack, or updates for music/bands, because I play trombone myself, I think there’s so many capabilities. Bands as a career/way to make Simoleons, marching bands and school bands, maybe some type of concerts (would be good for singing sims too), a lot of new instruments, overhaul to playing and writing songs, etc. would all be really cool features

Yeah, sometimes you just want to play a storyline or build and not have your sim do a lot of tedious stuff in the game.

I believe they think they're adding gameplay depth this way. 😁 Instead, they just add to the annoying emotions system.

So what happens is I'll have my baby, let's say he's white, his parents are white, everyone has the same race, then when I put him down in the crib, boom he's black, when I pick him back up, he has his original skin color, and then right as I put him down, hah! you thought! skin color changes again lmao
