I used to go to an eastern European school where it was unsafe to go out after 22:00, due to high crime rate. In the middle of this area, there was a school, that had a 30% rate of going to jail after graduating. Here is what they did: 1. Brought in Masked Police officers to patrol, both at day and night. 2. Moved all the previous teachers to other schools. This was important because they needed teachers that were onboard and not ones that did not believe it could be changed. Not fired, just moved. 3. New Teachers who from day one were told what is going to follow. 4. In the summer break (3 months), they renovated the school fully. You have to also correct the ambiance in schools if you expect to change the way of thinking as well. 5. When School started, it was clearly stated that we will not tolerate any more misbehaving. This of course was ignored by the kids, because this was stated many time before that, and nothing changed. 6. Once a kid started yelling, threatening, or throwing things at other students, or teachers. They were warned, if they did not stop the Teacher stood up with out a word, went outside, and the Masked police came in, grabbed the kid, and took them away to the principal. 7. Parents were called in and told this is the last warning. If they would even do the smallest thing, they are expelled. 8. Kids of course did not take the warning seriously. And they were expelled. Thus being the sacrificial lambs to show everyone else this is serious. 9. After a few waves of expulsions, everyone started to behave. 10. After 3-5 years, it became safe to go out at night, the jail bars from the windows have been removed, and when I walk past the school and see the kids play and have fun, it makes me smile. I am sorry for the ones that had to be made the examples, but you have to break some eggs to make an omelet...

31:25 I disagree. I'm from a third world country and my mom was a district court Judge. Every Judge she knows of are corrupted to a level because the government pay isn't enough to support a family. She never took bribe and served justice to the people. Her salary back then was less than about $200 a month and we were struggling financially. She did apologized me once that if she had went along with it, we would have lived wealthier and had an easier life and I told her I'm proud of her for upholding her moral standards until retirement. YES, I agree with you. I grew up in a third world country as well and we were poor. I experienced starving cause we didn't have anything to eat. Every time it rained, our house got wet cause our roof was always leaking. My mom couldn't afford toys for me and I was jealous of other kids. I couldn't even finish college cause we had nothing. Yeah I wondered what my life could've been if I was born rich. But if, for example, we could've been the richest family in the world only if my mom sold her body or my dad did some illegal stuff, I don't want it. Plus, I'm glad we were poor. I saw the ugliest things in life... and the most beautiful. I saw pure kindness in a very young age. I was able to appreciate life bc of where I came from. If I was born rich or someone different, I wouldn't be who I am now. So Asmon's take was underestimating people, thinking everyone wants the same thing. Money for me is a way to buy needs, not something I would sell my soul to have.

@@redfoxakame i agree with you. i didnt experience what you did as i was fortunate to have been born in the US, but i did see the ugliest sides of life due to the fact that my parents were from a poor background. i experienced what it was like being poor but not to the extent that some other people have or are currently experiencing. although we were still very poor here in the US we had family and friends doing much worse back in my parent's home country. i saw a community over there and over here.. well, everyone is just looking out for themselves all while demanding more as if theyre a community and it feels very strange. if i got the chance to start my life over but this time with all the money in the world, id turn it down.

There will always be an exception... ALWAYS... I could do the same but reverse the morals... People wont do murder, but there is that one guy who is a serial killer. "The exception that proves the rule" is a very powerful statement. In effect it implies that every single generalization has an exception... The OVERWHELMING!!! majority, will have some kind of moral line they wont cross... sure, but for many, selling their body, or taking a bribe once in a while to give your family a better life, is NOT! a moral line that most wont cross... especially if you are struggling heavily financially. "I wouldn't want to grow up knowing that my expenses cost my parents dignity." Both you, and your parents are a week without meals away from saying the literal opposite. You are also now doing it post hoc... If you were asked as a kid: "Hey, you want a good meal every day? Mommy will have to do something illegal though, and illegal is bad, but you will not be hungry, and you can have a Playstation", you likely would've said something else, and if you grew up with this, you WOULDN'T be able to justify your position in the same way, because you are a product of your upbringing. Even if so, that your morals would've ended up the same, you would still be that exception... This is the weirdest kind of argumentation "But it worked for one person, so therefore what you said is wrong!" If I go to a village that hasn't eaten for half a month, and I throw in a random person they don't know, and say "End them, and I will feed you for a year"... What do you really think will happen? Someone might morally object and refuse, but do you think the VILLAGE would not do it?

I agree with most takes, but pornography in general is extremely harmful. While I would say that it's a far stretch that pornography is ruining an entire generation, multiple studies have shown that becoming addicted to pornography can lead to the shrinkage of the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for decision-making and emotion control. It also affects the brain's reward system due to the over-reliance of pleasure, which can lead to decreased satisfaction in life, commonly resulting in depression. Because of the internet, pornography is easily accessible to minors and adults alike. Edit: Did you know that if pornography were to disappear suddenly, many third-world countries would suffer economically/disappear because of how large the porn industry is. This isn't exactly a "small issue".

All it takes is one kid to mess up, and get interrogated for the rest to be caught - schools also have access to how they use their networks, all it takes is one slip up. You also dont have to expel the whole school a couple of students and continuing to do so to set an example is all thats needed. Because the kid who punched my friend also had his feelings hurt because he was called a "bully" by my friend. So, My friend turned out to be the bully, As far as my teacher was concerned. So whenever said kids mom talks with any husband.. the mothers will get jealous and gossip about all the bullshit. If my kid goes to that house who’s to say the OF model isn’t doing OF shit and “corrupting” the child. Or when kids start buying the OF stuff.. or the husbands start buying the OF stuff. @@Erloys6007 in no culture in this world is what we're trying to push in the US right now acceptable wrt OF. It will always be disgraceful, whether you're judeo-christian like asmon tried to point out or otherwise. It's basic biology, it transcends cultures

@@Erloys6007 you are right but at the same time wrong, the bullying isn't enough to determine the act as wrong, i agree with that logic, but at the same time, pragmatically speaking, it could be a problem and if one could avoid it then better, i think we can all agree on that.. it's like a father telling her daughter not to go out to dangerous places at night because she can get raped, and the daughter arguing she should be free and rapists in jail, is the act of going out wrong? no, is it likely to lead to bad outcomes? yes, is it the fault of the girl? no, does it matter whose fault is it at the end of the day? barely, can we solve it any other way than restricting the freedom of the victim? kinda, not entirely but not 0 either. ultimately it's not a sufficient reason to stop OF, yet it's a factor to consider, alongside with other factors that could cause bad repercussions later on

Best way to avoid from getting shot is to stay out of the line of fire. Therefore, the most effective way to avoid getting bullied is to not give anyone a reason to do it to you. There are many ways this can be achieved. I am personally a fan of not doing something publicly that my child would get made fun of for. You think you are doing them a favor by just trying to "erase" the problem for them but you are not. Preventing the problem is always better.

Social media should not be allowed to be used by anyone under 18. Look at the amount content on tiktok and instagram that is suggestive. That is what is damaging the new generation even more.

You can’t stop it. They’ll just make a fake acct. Plus everyone complains about ID check. Certain states require this with porn sites now, and ppl online constantly give them shit for it.

It looks like that to you because you don't understand his perspective. Look up the SCARF model for core values. It's pretty clear that Asmon puts an extremely high value on autonomy. Whether or not someone should be able to do onlyfans has nothing to do with how he feels about it. It has everything to do with the fact that they are an adult and shouldn't be told what to do

@@andrew1007 but making some trendy norm is bad. That's why a lot of "norms" in ancient times got stomp out because it's bad.

Don't take asmon's take on this topic too seriously since we all know he will cherry pick and throw out biased arguments. He dated an egirl and he can have his own opinions but lets not act like he is the paragon of common sense and leave him with is takes, garbage or not.
