Onlyfire sent me a charcoal basket for the Weber Kettle to review. I put it to the test seeing how well it adjusts to temperature changes. I see how well it holds temperatures and if it does the important iob of cooking. I am impressed with the charcoal basket. See how well it performs! 5-11-24

Where did you find the "clips" to raise the cooking grate?

The clips come from a Weber kettle accessory called Skyflame Stainless Steel Charcoal Chamber& Ceramic Heat Deflector. I bought it off Amazon.

I was looking at this charcoal basket for my kettle, do you think the quality is decent and will last a few years?

It feels like good quality. It looks well put together. I can see it lasting a few years.

@yesitsmario88 From observing the basket of the cook, I would say half of the ashes fell to the bottom of the kettle, and the other half remained in the basket. When I shook the basket, ashes fell through. Now, even with the ashes in the basket, it did not cause any problems.
