My next review is on the Ontario M9 bayonet that I got at Midwayusa. This is a heavy duty bayonet. One of the toughest knives I ever bought. This will be a quick look review with edits. With this one I decided to go much higher. I got this for over $120 plus shipping. It has a very tough sheath and all the great features on it. It's also a wire cutter. They only downside to it is the blade came in very dull. Overall this is a great knife, super tough, heavy duty. This is a military issue and made in USA.

Thanks and been a while. I went much higher with the Ontario M9. I also have the Ontario M7 as well.

is this blade supposed to have an off-center grind? I got one recently and one side of the blade basically doesn't even have a secondary bevel. I could touch it up but Idk if it's supposed to be like that.

The blade is not an off center grind. It's made like that. This is a super heavy duty bayonet. I got this way back in 2013.

Is the m7 smaller in size?

Yes, the M7 is much smaller and a lot lighter. This is a super heavy duty bayonet.

It’s a toothpick compared to the M9 and OKC3S.

@@socaljarhead7670 I still have it 9 years later been that long. It's in great shape never been used. The blade came in very dull but it can be sharpened no problem.

You’ve had it for nearly a decade and haven’t sharpened it?

To be honest I just bought it for a collection and never been used. I also have the M7 bayonet as well came in sharp. I always prefer a factory sharpened edge.

@Alexandre Normand Giuliano Not for EDC this thing is like a meat clever. Overall great bayonet and worth the hundred. I also have the M7 bayonet as well.

The most I ever spent on a knife was over $120 to 190. That's what I meant by going higher.
