Most easily reached via the Midland Railway Butterley, the Butterley Park Railway is a signalled raised track railway with a simple "circular" track with a journey time of around three minutes.
The custom made track is supported along it's entire length by pit props.
The railway has a good range of locomotives able to run. During our visit a replica of the Deltic "The Durham Light Infantry" was running.
