If you have ever played wii, you will know about the wrist straps on the controller, I think they have the same thing on this, If you look closely you can kind of see them on his wrists.

They really need to make some sort of all-around gun that you hold onto irl for this game.. Just so it wont be anywhere near as wobly when you try to aim and that it feels even more realistic. And also that it has some weight ofcourse. Honestly it would complete this game.. EDIT: Found a product called Striker VR, it has a built in recoil system and is like holding a gun. It's actually quite neat, I'm not quite sure if they could implement it into Onward so people that own it can use it.

I have an idea. So one controller is about the size of a pistol/smg, and the other controller (normal shape) magnetically connects to the front end of that. So it can detect when you're holding the gun with two hands without all the awkward trying to snap it in place. Then have mag release/ other buttons on the pistol controller, etc

+fetB yeah like having to switch entire controllers would suck. You could even have two different magnets on it, so you could grip a pistol with two hands like you would and also grab the foregrip of a rifle like you would

There is a custom PVC rifle controller holding thingy that either can be bought or made, yes there should be a little weight for stability, no it shouldnt be big it should be compact. Definitely dont think recoil is really required for now.

Some people cal it the Tactical Headbutt or the Drunk Frenchman, but I call it the "RUN THE FUCK AWAY" maneuver. Just with the Tactical Headbutt maneuver added in for good measure.

you could probably customize a snipers frame so that it fits the controller and then I guess you can put a rail piece on the front part and just take your airsoft grip (if you have one)and I would think that would work well I guess

I was totally thinking the same thing, but if it's a controller, it doesn't really need the rail, just the manual of arms. But different models would be cool, like a bolt-action, bullpup, or handgun controllers for each style of gun.

the third controller could double as your hand (for knife/ radio/ tablet/ grenades etc) or if they had hand tracking, a controller for handgun, and two controllers with stock for rifles. that would be sweet.

Yes, otherwise you would get motion sickness if the headset didn't show what your body is actually doing. That's why some people get sick when they use the touchpad to walk instead of physically walking.

Your whole body (including your head) shakes a lot more than you think it does. You just don't notice it because your brain adapts. In VR you don't notice the shaking at all. It feels like real life.

How is the scope thing feels in this game? I've just got my vive today and tested out the last sniper vr, but when you take the weapon up to your eyes and trying to look throu the scope it looks kinda blurry, i tested to close one eye and it doesnt work that well, but when i have both eyes open it works a little better but it feels odd.

This is pretty damn cool. This is the first video I've seen or VR gaming. That'll be really cool if it catches on quickly and the main gaming industries invest to really refine this. I wonder if the military will use systems like this for training. I know they use simulators or aircraft/vehicles and certain types of special weapons.
