Lol mine done this power brick flashed white then orange. Tried different power brick same swao console in rooms and both bricks work on other console so not power brick issue

Did anybody ever find? A solution mine comes on for about 10 seconds and turns right back off sometimes a little longer but not much. There's nothing to do with the power supply or the wall outlet. I don't know start to think maybe it's just done.

Unplug the power cord on the back of your Xbox and unplug a external storage device if you have it then plug everything back in it worked for me

After an update i couldn’t turn it back on for nothing UNTIL you mentioned syncing the controller with the USB cable directly to the Xbox and then BOOM it turned right on. I thought my power supply was shot and I was actually on eBay hunting one down a new one. So it turned right on and turns out the latest update was never done so doing that now! Thx for the video tips!! 👍 I spoke to soon!! After the update it shut down and I’m back to square one can’t power up via disc insert, power button on the console and now even with my controller plugged into the usb on the side of my Xbox I can’t sync the controller and turn it on that way which I just did 10 minutes ago!! Arrghhh!! Wtf is going on here! 🤬😡🙄😭😱

Thank you my Xbox one wasn't working so I tried plugging it into a surge and pushing the cord into the Xbox really hard so it can be in tightly. I pressed the power button and it turned on. Then I did what you said held the power button and eject button for 15 seconds. I turned it back on again and held just the power button until it turned off. I unplugged it from the surge and plugged it back in a normal outlet like I usually do and it still turned on! Hopefully this helps someone in the future. Mind you it wasn't turning on at all in a normal power outlet until I put it in the surge.

It worked for me. I only had to disconnect the hdmi cable and power cable from my Xbox and turn off my power plug for 5-10 minutes then I plugged them back in and turned the power plug back on and it works now

Definitely is something with the power on my end. Power button and eject buttons not working but pushing a disc in the console was able to power it up lol, nuts.

Thank you! I had not thought of using a disk to turn on the Xbox. I kept getting nothing from the power button, and I had already paired my controller with a different Xbox so I had nothing. I used a disk to start it and now my controllers paired again.

All these things doesn't work with mine. Mine's an Xbox one s all digital edition. It won't turn on, when I press the Xbox button it turn on for like 1 second then turn off. Joystick won't connect so I can't use it to turn on the Xbox. The power reset didn't work. And pressing Xbox and connecting and the same time do nothing, just turn on for a second than turn off and then turn on again for a second and turn off. I opened it but all components seems to be ok. Have some tips for me?

Not sure if this will 100% work but I also have an Xbox One S and had this issue. In short, I would say that unplugging all of the cords for a moment, plugging the power cord into a wall outlet then holding down the eject and power button on my console was my resolution. Now I'll try to be detailed. It worked perfectly fine up until recently (I had only used it a handful of times). Though right before I had this issue, my Xbox actually froze mid-game and I had to forced shut it down. Later I pressed the power button on my Xbox and the button would glow for a second and then power off. There were times when the Xbox stayed turned on, but I still had "No Signal" on my television. Now, a couple weeks later, I tried to turn it on again. It turned on then went into automatic update mode. When finished updating, I turned it on again, only for it to stay on the startup screen while it buffered. *So I turned off my console, unplugged the power and hdmi cords, waited 30 seconds, then plugged power cord directly into a wall outlet* (It was previously plugged into a power strip with many other cords plugged in). *I turned the console on again* and it was still stuck on the startup screen for a while. Eventually the screen turned black and I was still unable to use my controller even though it was turned on. *I then held down the eject button and power button on my console until the startup options popped up on my screen.* I clicked "back", the screen went black, but shortly after, my console was working again. It might have been a resolution issue, as stated in this video. I think this because when I turned my console off, my tv screen said "Resolution not supported".

none of these helped, My console(Xbox one x) won't turn on, the last thing I remember of it is me playing games on it then going to sleep and waking up to it not turning on, when I try to connect my controller with the cable it makes the controller just keep blinking so it seems like it can sort of power on the controller. I took it to someone who might be able to fix it and they said it was water damage...which was so dumb since I know I didn't get water on it and said if I wanted to repair the console it would cost me like 300 dollars so just buy a new one. I have just left my Xbox laying in my room for months hoping to find a way to fix it

The brick senses low voltage. If you have 17 things plugged into a powerstrip, plug the power brick directly into the wall. my xbox wouldn't play apps, had to clear saved game data. That freed up memory. I just bought a second power brick. They both turn off after about 24 hours left on, so just unplug and use the next one to turn back on.

Yo a small creator over here, Here is how i fixed my xbox power up. First unplug everything from the xbox, as well as the power cord that you plugged into the wall, Then wait a few seconds (Preferably up to 30 seconds, also while you wait you can take the time to clean the back of your xbox for cobweb and dust), after you waited plug everything back in and start it up again. If you hear a beep that is the xbox trying to turn on, just try a few times and it should turn on.

These advices served me. But one day I had to open the power brick with some torx t9- t10 because it was so dirty that it overheated, preventing the console from finishing boot up or staying on more than 2 mins. Thanks again man, just leaving this piece of advice here.

Yes same happened to me but I found that if I unplugged everything except the power go rd and wait like a minute then try to turn it on but your Xbox is in a downward spiral. Mine is finally dying but I got another couple years doing what I said now I’m stuck again and it won’t turn on at all :(

This video gave me hope to fix mine and I figured out my problem.... I got qtip and paper towels and wooden skewer and cleaned my power connection plugs... they were filthy. Then I vaccumed out my power strip filled with dust, and vacuumed out my Xbox full of dust, also got a plant stem vacuumed out of it not sure how it got in there. So filthy.. when I was done plugged it it the Xbox turned on working
