Oh man. That was crazy. I too considered the Onyx RCR. Only reason I didn’t go for it it’s thats it’s basically a motorcycle and I already have a Harley and of I wanted another motorcycle I’d buy another one. Technically you can use the Onyx in parks since it has normal mode which makes it legal but once you switch to sport then it needs registration. If you get into an accident doing 60 and you have no registration or insurance good luck with that one. I’d get the Onyx and register it if I could get it for around $2K. Yet I do know Super73 might release a faster bike to compete with the Onyx RCR and the Sur-Ron X and other e-bikes that do over 50mph. Probably make you sign a waiver saying you won’t use it faster than 28mph and the other mode is for the track.

Was waiting on a black S2 ordered I May15th when I saw a June shipping date but canceled my order last week once I realized that wasn't happening and ordered a Monday motorbike that gets here tomorrow. I love the super73 community but happy to be on a bike way sooner. Chicago summers are way too short needed a bike fast! Plus I'm sure I'm going to love the extra speed that came with the extra cost. Hey, just want to add here. So I think your issue at end of the video is related to the unlimited mode. It states on super73 site that its supposed to work that way. Don't know if it was software pushed if you haven't had this before. "To enable Unlimited mode, the rider needs to launch the Super73 App, accept the terms and conditions and enable Unlimited mode which will unlock the extra power and speed while enabling the use of the throttle (purchased separately via the “Off-Road Package)) only for that ride. If the bike is turned off, the next time it is turned on it will once again default to the EPAC 250w riding mode which will limit the power (250w), speed (25 km/h) and will disable the throttle if one has been added to the bike. "

Blowing through stop signs and generally not adhering to any road rules hurts us all. They will require licenses if they see ebikers as law breakers.

For 4k I ordered a 12k watt motor from china, BAC 8000, a Walmart mtb, and custom built 110v 52ah battery and had a buddy do a couple welds for me. I get 90mph easy and 0-60 in 2.8 seconds leaning into the front

Soooooo glad I didn't buy a Super 73 what with all the issues you've had. For as much as they go for they should be perfect. I ended up going with a Mario Retro Plus which is a knockoff Hyper Scrambler and the thing is mint. I've had zero issues with it and ride the absolute crap out of it. P.s. Those dudes seemed cool. Y'all should ride together again.

I think if I purchase the ONYX I will most likely drill 50 Cent piece type holes in the side panels and paint it. For the faux wood piece I would wrap it in a red faux carbon fiber and add LED lighting strips to the wheels or reflective strips.

On a GoPro Hero 2 the 1080 footage isn't the greatest due to physical sensor limitations. Rent one of the newer ones like the 7 and you'll notice a huge difference between 1080 and 720.

the ONYX isn't street legal while the Super73 is. The ONYX doesn't need bike lanes with the Super73 does. I guess it depends on how many cops are in the area in order to ride it

As for onyx brand there are things I like, like the battery is covered and build in standard with alarm and locks out rear wheel but if I need something to go 60mph I might as well get a scooter that is now legal in certain states to have without a license ( not talking about brands like Vespa but certain scooters don’t need it) I see this bike getting a lot of tickets if you don’t register and have a motorcycle permit or license but back to my point I would get a scooter or invest in zero motorcycle that has a electric motorcycle that goes 124mph. If you want to just cruise around and not go on crazy trails with rocks and bumps, Super73 is perfect. All depends on what kinda ride you looking for I guess but that’s my point of view.

Just received my Super 73 Rx yesterday & it's already up for sale! Total dog that barely makes it up my drive way. Complete POS as far as the performance. The bike looks awesome but my SurRon, my Segway X260, my Outlaw SS & my Juggernaut blow this bike away. No comparison hands down the sloooowest ebike I've ever had.

Super 73 needs to use those motors on version 2 of the R with a 72 v battery and just limit it to 40 mph on unlocked mode that motor is a beast like on my HPC BIKE TOP SPEED 60 MPH TOO MINE HAS A CHRYSTALITE MOTOR ALL COPPER WOUND NO GEARS IN IT
