Today's video has seven days of inky doodles! I used a prompt list from 2017 by the.petite.planner linked below. I loved how visual they all sounded. Much less room for creativity which, i've now discovered, left me more room for...creativity. Don't ask me how that works. My other stipulation was to include inky doodle flowers because thats all i really wanted to draw anyway. Its my favorite form of lineart drawing and I've ever really practiced it, so I made that my goal of the month to learn and practice.

that takes practice. it doesn't happen over night. its natural to want to improve. I think the change comes when you see it as a journey. and looking at the progress you've made rather then precise amount of failure an old drawing has. somedays are easier than others, but give yourself some grace. you're doing well!

What I love LOVE most about all your work is that you draw (and erase) with such reckless abandon! You just jump all in, no worries about an absolutely perfect sketchbook page or staying chained to any specific idea. You simply sketch and sketch and erase, share your thought process, and then create magic. It’s very inspiring and invigorating! So many YT artists leave this brainstorming out (or don’t put thought into it at all or pretend to not do all this necessary work). My style of drawing is very different, however you’ve taught me a lot about getting over sketch paralysis 😫 and I’m so grateful for your videos. Thank you!

Hi waffles, i have been binge watching your videos for a few months now. Just want to tell you that, for some reason, i can only fall asleep when watching your videos! Your voice is extremely soothing, and you always explain everything - including the mediums and your drawings. It is very easy for me to put on a video at 2 am, and not feel the need the stay awake to look at your drawings (i hope that came across the right way lol).
