@@SnerMerNer I am not pro life but anti abortion. I just don't think you should go around killing babies because you made a bad decision. Not even just a woman thing but a man thing. I worked with a guy that talked to several women into having abortions. I am not sure if all of them where his but the dude was up to nine abortions. I mean for all that is holy wear a freaking condom. That's a whole different thing. But it's ridiculous to me that you expect him to be ok with losing his child over a mere accusation but she can't get over a date after a breakup. Like he owes her time to process when she didn't give him time to double check that he actually cheated. Then on top of it all, funny how she never intended to end the relationship until she was sure he cheated. Truth is that she most likely was on the fence for whatever reason on having kids. They were both irresponsible on how they were intimate. A little accusation was good enough to have an abortion. When she discovered he didn't cheat, she didn't intend to let him know what she did but then felt too guilty when he proposed to her that quick after the abortion. She expected to cry and confess and him to be upset and forgive so she can go on living and enjoying life without regrets and guilt but it didn't play out how she wanted. So now she was ok with him sleeping with another woman and happy to have his babies right away if it means she doesn't lose her perfect relationship. Now she is willing to compromise. It's me me me me. They all have the same logic. All about me and I and myself. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she actually cheated and didn't know who is the father. That's probably the thing that makes most sense. I cheated or was thinking about monkey branching but he offered marriage and a wedding so now I regret it. The whole thing took a week to ruin a perfect relationship.

@@WheresTheMoneyLebowski Sadly that's not reddit but just the current environment. I follow a channel and every now and then they get a personal submission. Guy: I am not taking her back because she cheated. Friend of the girlfriend: You should take her back and if she cheated on you it's because it's your fault for not satisfying her and that means you need to work on yourself and your relationship. Guy: hold that thought and goes and brings back a list of the people girlfriend cheated on him with which included their marital status and what they did and when and where "it was the girlfriend fetish" and hands it over to the friend. Friend is reading. Guy: points out the name of her husband and says I guess we both need to improve and work on ourselves. Friend: that effing B, can't believe she did that to me. It's the usual double standards. It's more common now a days because there are more trashy people around. Can you even tell me how many people you know that have been married for over thirty years with zero infidelity and affair babies running around? People don't know how to be in a good relationship. Part of it is to stay away from toxic people with the wrong morals and values. I bet you several of their friends don't have the right morals and values.

ST1 "She begged me not to leave her and try to see things from her angle.” Her angle? What is there to see? She got an abortion not for life threatening health reasons or because she was a victim of SA but because her best friend falsely accused her partner and got it into her head that he cheated and she shouldn’t be tied to op for 18 years, there is no logical reason to see things from her angle, this is the consequence of believing other people without concrete evidence.

She's gullible to outside influence, extremely trigger happy in her response and does not respect OP at all because she didn't wait to verify anything with him before taking action. It would be understandable if OP was a cheating AH and she needed to leave him, but in this situation he was not and there was ample proof he was faithful. I don't think Jas would have been a good mom. I don't really think she wanted that baby. That's what she thought op wanted to hear. Frankly, I think she got the abortion because she knew she didn't actually want the responsibility. She just used the cheating allegations from her friend to justify her decision. I think op should count his blessings he's not stuck with this witch for the next 18 years. Lastly, Jas's feelings stopped mattering right after they broke up. She's such a huge coward too for not even being to admit to her friends why her relationship ended so suddenly. Let her flying monkeys throw all of the tantrums they want. I admire op's decisiveness but I wouldn't have recommend jumping into a new relationship so soon. Story 2 - NTA. Op is too good for this garbage family. Op's parents ruined their daughter. I’m not pro-death, I’m pro-life. That baby deserved to have the opportunity to live. Instead, a jealous female friend said one sentence and the baby died. Don’t get me wrong: there are times when abortion is necessary. Like the minuscule cases of medical necessity or incest/rape. But the majority of abortions are by women in their 20’s that have had at least 1 live birth. So women who are already moms. Abortion is now being used as birth control, and that’s not fair to a child to just say they are inconvenient and their lives are expendable because of that inconvenience. I could not be with a woman who ever had an abortion for a non-emergency reason.

I’m sorry, but men have the right to make decisions about their children. Sure a woman has to carry the child for a bit, but that child affects both parent’s lives. If my partner pulls that “my body, my choice” crap then I’m leaving and refusing to sign the birth certificate. Why should I care for and pay for something that’s not my choice or responsibility?

Uhh if she gets an abortion then there is no birth certificate lol. Logic my man. If youre mad about it being legal for your partner to have an abortion, would you rather it were illegal and you have to deal with the fact years later that she never wanted your kid? I just dont see the upside of banning it. Also what if the partner is abusive, or what if she is just not in the best state health wise and doesnt want to commit to labor at the moment? Seems like it must be legal to avoid fucking people's lives up, which is common sense for the importance of bodily autonomy. I mean seriously, imagine you went to a doctor asking for a medical procedure and they told you that it's illegal for them to do! Thats total bullshit, if you really think you need to control your partner to that point you should get some help and that is not judgement at all I am 100% serious

The mindset of people who are pro-choice is pretty funny especially when it comes from women because on one hand they want the full authority of their body but they never want the responsibility or want to deal with the consequences of aborting a kid but on the other hand they want the man to have full responsibility of the baby and her body If she want to keep the baby Even if the man don't want to have a kid

Its like throwing something out. Its yours and ya own it until ya put it on the curb soon as its on the curb its no longer private property. Same with semen soon as its in a girl its no longer the man's. Bro choose to throw it away in there. If a baby shows up cuz of it even if he doesnt want to. He gotta pay for said baby cuz dumbass throw his seed in a woman instead of a trash can or down the drain like a smart man. Dont want kids get snipped 100x easier than for woman to get snipped. Or wear a condom not a cheap one and put it on properly cuz not putting it on properly is why they tear. Men got more control over if a baby happens cuz during sex its their shit that gets sprayed everywhere. Also a woman cant kill a kid thsts outside her body. only when its inside she got a say in what happens and only for a limited time abortions cant happen after like 3 months or something. Then the woman is just baby incubator until it comes out hoping the baby doesnt kill her during the pregency or delivery. See naunce and detail shit no one talks about or thinks about anymore.

You're completely misrepresenting prochoice and making it seem like a complete binary proposition. Reasonable people in a relationship communicate. A woman should have the option and the relationship should have consequences if it even exists if it's not a mutual decision.

@@Nonono7226 Pro-choice advocates believe in the "my body, my choice" principle but fail to fully embrace the associated responsibilities and consequences. There seems to be an imbalance where women demand authority over their bodies without shouldering the responsibility, while expecting men to bear all the obligations and repercussions if they do not want the child. Notably, pro-choice groups have not contested men being required to pay child support for children they did not wish to have.

Story 1: OP really should rethink things. He's ok with abortion but not ok that his girlfriend didn't tell him that she aborted their baby. Like what are you exactly mad then? Honestly he would be a terrible father if he's ok with such a vile act. He's right about getting rid of Jas tho. A woman who believes a accusation without proof and aborts her baby isn't wife material at all. It's absolutely disgusting on both OP and Jas's parts in this situation.

You must not be an adult. He isnt mad that she aborted the baby, as he said her body her choice, but she didnt think to console him with the information. Not only that but the reason she got an abortion was because one of her friends randomly said he had cheated and the gf automatically believed her and aborted the baby before even getting actual evidence proving he was cheating. Anyone with any self respect would drop the relationship. But op didnt scream, hit her, or spouted insults her way. He broke up with her and left the relationship

@@adude661 No, see. That wouldnt work. Men have to be responsible when fathering children otherwise we will have millions more starving kids and much much more crime accordingly. Both parents have to be responsible unless they lose custody, but the mother has added responsibilities of risking her health and going through labor. So there will never be a situation where the mother could abandon the father with the child before the birth, however the reverse is not uncommon. And in those situations, the mother and child are fucked over by the selfish man because of his actions, so he should totally take responsibility that is just common sense. However if they decide not to have the kid then neither takes responsibility, which is an only Option if abortion is legal! Look freedom is supposed to be the whole point of this country right?
