An older video, but for reference, I have the first generation 1.4T Opel Astra Enjoy Plus (2010 registration), which has the active forward lighting (Xenon HID lighting) and the sport suspension package. It's still a joy to drive. Have had issues with cooling system (thermostat and turbo cooling line) and also water pump had to be replaced, but cheap spares and I carried out the work myself. I've owned it for 5 years myself, and it has 110000km on the odo. Love my Astra J!

Und woher kam nun das Pfeifen ? War es das Getriebe oder normales Turbogeräusch ?

Hi, my personal fuel consumption in city (with quite a lot of traffic) is at about 7.8/7.9 liter/100 km. I own this car since three years and my opinion about it is, that it is the best daily driver which i've ever had. It's not very emotional or dynamic but the reason, why it is for me the best daily driver is, that the running costs are very low (insurance, service, tax) and in this three years i haven't had any problems with it.

Hallo, ich finde du machst sehr gute und objektive Videos, gerade deine Vlogs gefallen mir sehr gut. Mich würde aber nochmal interessieren, was du zur Verarbeitung im Innenraum des Astra J sagst. Ich finde das Design wirklich gelungen aber wenn man mal auf die Abdeckung über dem Tacho oder auf die Mittelkonsole drückt, knarzt es teilweise schon ziemlich. Ist dir da auch aufgefallen und wenn ja, stört es dich? Ich hatte nämlich das Gefühl, das der Innenraum bei Mitbewerbern gerade aus dem VAG Konzern doch etwas 'liebevoller' verarbeitet ist. Hi und vielen dank :). Dein Eindruck über Materialqualität täuscht nicht. Bei Druck auf das Gaspedal knarzt es ein klein wenig ansonsten nicht. Stören tut es mich aber nicht da ich mir den Astra als daily driver zugelegt habe der einfach nicht zuviel kosten sollte. Und genau da sind wir am Entscheidenden Punkt. Die tatsächlichen Preise bei Händlern liegen sehr weit unter denen von VW. Also zum Zeitpunkt als ich den Astra geholt hatte (halbes Jahr alt) hab ich den Wagen 6000 euro unter den von einem vergleichbar ausgestatteten golf bekommen. Daher der Astra als tägliches Auto für alle notwendigen Fahrten und in 1-2 Jahren werde ich mir noch was nettes zum lieb haben als 2. Wagen holen :p

Alles klar, mir ging es tatsächlich nur um dieses 'Verarbeitungsdetail. Was den Preis angeht hast du völlig recht. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Polo/Ibiza, als ich gesehen habe, dass man zum selben Preis einen top ausgestatteten Astra J ST bekommt. Also wer Wert auf ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis legt, kommt momentan am Opel Astra J nicht vorbei.

+hans müller Absolut meine Meinung. Zudem hat der Astra auch einen recht guten Werterhalt. Der Wagen ist ganz klar eine rationale Entscheidung. Eine Sache gefällt mir jedoch beim Astra besser als beim Golf für den alltäglichen Gebrauch. Und das ist das Fahrwerk. Für weite Strecken deutlich komfortabler und daher auch für Urlaubsfahrten Top.

Ich finde deine Videos auch richtig toll! Hast du deinen Astra noch und bist du zufrieden? Ich finde bzgl. dem Astra J ist das nicht nur eine rationale Entscheidung....gerade mit etwas höherer Ausstattung, sprich Xenon, ein paar schönen Felgen und nem schönen Lack sieht der richtig edel aus. :)

hans müller Hab das Problem auch gehabt. Wenn du es immer noch hast. Kannst du die Abdeckung ausbauen und die 4 Klipse mit Fett einschmieren.

@@Tobbieh Did you solve the issue? It's a known issue in M20 and M32 gearboxes.

I have one of these cars.....Are you sure thats not the turbo spinning up you are hearing? If so then its normal, if not then dunno what that could be :/

It's the turbo spinning, happens when you reach 2500+
