Thank you for all your videos. I own a corsa utility and your videos are very helpful, so much so that I'm doing most of the work on my corsa myself😁. Just replace the head gasket 2 weeks ago and all is good sofar😁👍.

Warm regards from kenya. I have a corsa 1.4i and done 200'000 kms so far running perfectly without any issues. Imported super 4 spark plugs from the uk and my corsa runs very smooth. Has good power and gives good fuel consumption..

I had a mechanic come to check my vehicle yesterday, due to it not starting, and to quote me for a service. Being recommended, he is a huge overweight man who showed up without his t-shirt on, profusely sweating in the sweltering sun. He left my vehicle seat covers wet with the imprints of his body fluid and his hands and dirty shorts left grease smears that I cringed at. My vehicle is a 2004 Opel Utility 1.4 is which is in excellent condition having had a female owner prior. His ripping out of sensors and swinging my starter for 30 minutes straight, even when nothing he was doing was working, let me very uncomfortable. I guess I expected someone who presented himself as knowledgeable, neat, professional, and could follow a series of steps commonsensical to being in the field. In honesty I saw a cowboy who I do not want to make my vehicle be worse than its current state. This video is like a breath of fresh air and I would bring my vehicle to this man anytime. No more greasy nailed mechanics for me. I do feel confident to approach the service myself. Thanks for the amazing content.

Wow what a story, sorry about that experience. Yes there are many mechanics not up to standard , but there are many more transparent and excellent mechanics also So don't lose hope and faith in them. Engine problem diagnosis is not always easy and straight forward, but I aim to try and help the normal or DIY enthusiast to prevent or solve there issues. Im glad you managed to do it yourself. Hi Sir, I have the same model car, i want to install a new coil pack, so I'd like to know if do i need to adjust timing after installing a new coil pack, or i simply remove and fit the new coil pack?

Itjoo i was once shocked by those wires when my opel corsa started to enter on limb mode jacking at 40 km to Graff reinet as i was coming from Queenstown to Capetown, then i found new plug wires as i was driving with 3 plugs as one wire was broken. When i got to Beaufort west those plug cables were melting beyond that alluminium plug holders, i had very bad ride so to survive i had to switch car off once it starts to jack then back on again then it would drive 5 km then i must do the same thing until i arrived at capetown but even today no mechanic who fixed this problem, i bought the manifold heat resistance bandage to prevent spark plugs from getting hot and burn the plug holders. I suspect timing because when i start the vehicle the rev goes up to over 5000rpm then it slowly comes down to normal, any advise opel users or video owner? I have put the KnL air filter and i always make sure i clean it with together with trottle body using trottle body cleaner . What can be the cause of it losing power?

I switched the engine on when the engine is evaporate i hear something inside the engine blust.i dont know what is the problem is??.

Thanks for your Information. I have a Problem with my Corsa bakkie 1.4, I was driving it this other morning then I realized it has no power when pressing the Gas paddles, I therfore went to the AutoShop they says my Spark plugs are wet due to oil, I therefore changed them all but the Problem still the same the new ones are getting Wet again and has no power when pressing the Gas Paddle. What could be the possible Problems?

Gasket cover man and seals because oil is sneaking to the plugs. I hope you managed to fix it

Good day I was wondering if you can could tell me or make a video on the reason why my Opel corsa loses power for about a few seconds then kicks back again what could be the reason

Hi . What you are asking for is quite complex as the engine has to be properly inspected to determine the problem. A good start would be sensors and wiring, fuel pump and filter check. but also what is the mileage on the engine and when was the last major service done. This would include Oil, oil filter, plugs, air filter, coolant change, timing belt, tensioner, water pump and oil pump.
