it's easy, Opel is a German brand, founded in 1862 by Adam Opel in Rüsselsheim. In the forge first sewing machines and bicycles (1886 - 1940) were produced.

Fist off, Opel is NOT manufactured in Rüsselsheim but assembled. These are two different things. Also, Malcom Ward ( a Brit) was appointed by Mark Adams (another Brit) , Vice President GM Europe as the director of exterior design. about my comment about Insignia being unreliable, I assure it is true. Don't take my word for it, read what Insignia Owners have to say about it.

You need to get your facts straight. The Insignia was designed by Opel/Vauxhall (Michael Ward to be more precise, the director of exterior design at Opel/Vauxhall).

What are you writing a crap! Opel is a German manufacturer based in Rüsselsheim Hessian, whose owner is GM. Here the technical development department sits for all European models of GM. The current models are top, so I think you not that any dealer would you say such a thing about the Insignia!

No, Opel is owned by GM. Take Opel insignia for example, it's a goddamn Buick branded differently.

That is exactly what it means. "The vehicle is known as the Buick Regal in China and North America" - quote from Wikipedia. there is nothing German about it. Just because it is assembled in Rüsselsheim, doesn't make it German.
