Fixing the Corsa D fuel door not opening. Replacing the fuel door mechanism motor.

Sir, My Astra h is a sedan 4 door. Yesterday I was removing the upholstery on the right side, wanting to remove the mechanism motor. I couldn't get to the motor because there is a double sheet, and it seems to me that there is no cable that goes to the motor, but the piston goes directly in and locks the door. Do you have any idea how to remove the mechanism motor, please ?

The actuator is 90% similar with the ones from Dacia/Renault vehicles.

So where exactly is the solenoid unit situated? Is it underneath the boot floor or more to the driver side right somewhere near the fuel cap?

Is under back of the boot plastic trim, more on the right side. Remove the plastic and you will see it.

@CorsaDForever thank you mate managed to find it and luckily it just needed a pull on the cable and a bit oil and started working

I think it's.different on the newer models say from 2013-2014 1.2 as you cannot access it from inside the boot.

I think it's the same. Remove the plastic boot trim, it's behind it, on the right side.

Sorry mate, but I don't really understand what you want to know. When you open the car from the remote key, the fuel door is opened same time with the doors.
