Rifkind says the result of EU negotiations will largely determine the referendum result. Latest polling evidence shows even if he gets what he's asking for it will make no difference because few if any believe it and it's not what most of us are demanding. In fact it will probably have the opposite effect as we're seeing how MEP's from all other EU countries are reluctant to give the UK any of it. And they're only promissory notes anyway for after the poll. The UK people were fooled in 1975, we're way more savvy this time, sorry.

Very good indeed. An excellent idea to create "EU Wargames" - love it! At least some realism and logic compared to UK media broadcast.

If you have failed to appreciate the ridiculous and costly consequences of remaining in this 'elitist' club of politicians and bureaucrats you ain't been paying attention.

if the brits stay in the eu than the eu will have more votes on the un's security council than any one group. that's seems so unbalanced that one or both england and france should give up their seats on the security council. one should go to the eu but the other is up for grabs. who gets that vacated seat at the security council? france's seat should transferred to the eu. england's seat, what happens to that?
