Hip mobility is extremely important for cheer athletes as most of our activities involve some extreme ranges of motion.
If a cheer athlete is struggling with hip range of motion or is experiencing hip tightness or hip pain, improving range of motion can be helpful.
Additionally, using these activities are part of a warm up or just before your cheer strength and conditioning; athletes can find limitations that could lead to injuries down the road.
