Awesome job. That was a real turkey hunt...no blind, no decoys. Just a man that knows his terrain, how to get close before a sound is made and then when to light him up. Great audio of the spitting. Can't wait for more! Thanks guys! MG

Truer words have never been spoken about the pain in the butt! It's like trying to hunt with one arm behind your back! Thanks for the motivation!

I usually can’t watch turkey hunting videos after the season cause I miss it too much and it will drive me crazy. I’ll make an exception for these!!!
@pinhotiproject6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for making the exception! I know many folks have moved on to fishing and filling deer feeders and I hate I couldn't get the content out there during the season. It's just not possible. I sure appreciate you guys hanging around for me to get it together. More to come soon.

I can feel the excitement, the anticipation, the joy of the opening day being only minutes away. Such a great feeling. On the flip side, the last day of the season or the last tag being filled is always a little somber, almost depressing when the excitement of the kill is over and you come to realize, life is over as we know it.
@glennpennington57894 жыл бұрын
Gotta love it! Best part of the video for me was while she was holding the bird by the neck you can see the uncontrollable shaking of her hands....absolute raw emotions! You can't always capture that with video and you sure can't pretend or script it.....it's real and uncut! Why we love it!
@andrewh32446 жыл бұрын
Yeah buddy and now the videos start cant wait for more!
@teddyevans13664 жыл бұрын
Wow! That brought a tear to my eye at the end! Thanks for sharing!
@austintoler43096 жыл бұрын
Awesome! Can’t wait for the rest of them. You really should do a play by play, like you were talking about on instagram yesterday. That’s one of the only videos I’ve seen that captures the approach a good Bama or Georgia hunter takes, to killing birds. We could all learn a lot from you, regardless of experience level. Talk about how you picked that area, why you waited to be in the right position before calling to him at all, why you threw the kitchen sink at him when he hung up drumming, how you’re approach changed when that hen started up, etc. So many hunters limit themselves by the old mantra of “less is more” Calling. There’s a balance to everything, and a lot of those guys let birds walk off by being subtle when the bird is demanding aggression. I’d imagine we will see quite the variation in approach from one bird to the next, as you upload each hunt. Looking forward to the entertainment and the learning. Well done!
@pinhotiproject6 жыл бұрын
They're coming! I'm going to move forward with that idea soon. And you are very right, the approaches will always vary with each encounter so hopefully there will always be a "new leaf" to turn. Thanks for looking!

Please make a video explaining a gobbler that moves in say 150 yds and then hangs up. Gobbles and then starts to walk away. Is there a call sequence to finish the deal. (I'm referring to birds on trampled ground). Do you avoid birds on trampled ground? Please give a talk about you rarely using decoys.
@blakeburns56076 жыл бұрын
Yes sir! Opening with a bang. Great video! Its hard to watch the content out there these days killing over strutting decoys or fans... I'm not totally against decoys but it seems like that's all you see as far as videoed hunts..This is a great way to lay out a hunting scenario, the way its supposed to be done.Looking forward to following along as you get more videos up.
@pinhotiproject6 жыл бұрын
I agree. Which is exactly why I'm attempting to show the "other" way. . . and it also happens to be the way I like to tangle with them, so it works. It quite often doesn't result in good (or any) turkey footage but it's pure. We got lucky on this hunt. Thanks for watching!

Great video. Question, what kind of mouth call do you use? Advice drop the cigar and drink a beer. I love turkey hunting but I'm deaf in one ear and can't tell direction. Any advice? Mark... FLA

Who makes the 3-D leafy Obsession jacket you're wearing?
@gary46453 жыл бұрын
I absolutely loved it. The way the camera was position I thought that you wouldn't be able to see the turkey. When she shot I jumped like I was there. This was awesome footage. Love her reaction too. Good work guys. Tip for all: To keep a gobbler from coming back to life take a zip tie and zip it just below the waddles that way he won't beat you to death and he doesn't come back to life riding down the road in the back of your pickup.

Great job - can't wait for the next one! Much prefer the real hunt feel and less video of the kill. Keep it real - after all 75 percent of a true turkey hunting is the audio! No blinds!!!

What is the green sticker on her gun for?
@pinhotiproject5 жыл бұрын
It's a legal requirement in a couple states. Not Florida, but I put it on my guns and leave it there so I wouldn't have to worry about it again- when I do find myself in those states.
