The Mr. Donut x Pokemon lucky bag is never a disappointment 🥺 The designs are just so cute auugughhghguh!! I am pretty pleased with the haul this year!! The Sanrio bags are new to me this year, though!!

The sanrio silver tape holder is for the confetti/streamers "silver tape" that shoots out of cannons during idol concerts and you just grab it out of the sky 😆They usually have the concert tour's name and sometimes the idols' autographs printed on it!

The kuromi tent thing can also be used for probably any series that has the “tsum tsum” style plushies! It’s probably a product in the Sanrio オタ活 line!

at idol concerts they blast these long confetti like strips out, they usually have the group name and tour name on them so ppl like to collect them as a piece of memory and you can put them into these holder thingies so they dont get damaged and you can attach them to your keys or bag, etc :)

Oh GAWSH!! Yaaas, I totally forgot about that. But isn't it usually when it's a tour final? Not sure...the past two years during COVID were a bit of a "no concerts situation". :'D

That restroom tip was really handy, haven't heard anyone else mention that before. Also your bag haul has been pretty good so far I'd say.

Towel and bottle of hand soap. I can't remember if I heard it from a travel blog or KZfaqr, but the lack of soap in public washrooms was what I remember hearing. Hilariously enough the first bathroom I hit after leaving the airport had this issue. Though overall I believe I only encountered 3 washrooms without soap during my 2 weeks in Tokyo. Being this was in... 2016? 2017? I imagine this would have changed.

Love the bags where the actual bag it comes in is something useable, like the second Sanrio bag. I’d use that for groceries!

I always love watching lucky bag openings, it feels like opening Christmas presents but after Christmas lol! If I was in Japan these would probably be the same bags I would go for as well. Honestly though, I don't think you are missing out on the Pokemon lucky bag/box. They've been kinda disappointing for the past 3-4 years

You can use the towel like a wall banner. The trash can you can use to put your pencils or pens or make up brushes. You just need to think outside the box and use items for non traditional ways.

I would wear the masks. I love hello kitty she is my favourite. I got a lucky bag when I went to Japan in the new year 2020. So the sanrio one is my favourite.

Sanrio were the first lucky bags I ever got - I was little and they were all different, but back then they didn’t list the items on a tag - they do now in some stores. I would spend SO much time in the Sanrio store choosing my bag, agonizing over making the right choice. I have such happy memories of Sanrio, this reminds me of. Thanks for the little time travel trip!! I love love your My Melody!!! 💕

Self-control while being in Japan for such a short amount of time? Please, noooo! In case you bought too much, send it as a package back to your home if that's possible. Also, don't take too many clothes with you. When you need something to wear, go to one of the bigger Book Off's. They have lots of second-hand, high-quality clothes for extremely cheap, and manga, merch etc.. ;)

Great video 🎉and I think the bags from mister donuts and mos burger are totally worth it. The Sanrio one wasn’t quite my taste because I love it when they have stuff in it that you can actually use like tote bags or calendars or that head band. But the Sanrio had a lot of stuff I wouldn’t use like those masks or the big towel and plushies. So I’d go for the other two.

Kimdao had a bag full of plushies in her pokemon lucky bag. Maybe hers was the more expensive one. She also was disapointed, that there wasn't any specialedition plushies.

The one with the plushies is the Pokémon Center Fukubukuro which is the one she talked about I the begining that gets sold out every year. This video is about the Mister Donuts Pokémon collab Fukubukuro.

I've been very busy lately, but I'll watch the video as soon as I can. I want to see those cute pokémon designs :D Also, after so so many years, I'm planning to go to Japan for the first time this summer 🥳 to a japanese language school, to test out what living in Japan is like, so I can make a decision regarding my masters. I'm pretty sure I will fall in love with japan, and I can't wait that to happen!

I heard on another KZfaq channel that you can find some of the fukubukuros on Mercari from people selling them second hand. So maybe you might be able to find the Pokémon Centre bag there? 😊

I didn't know about the lottery and Pokemon Fukubukuro, and I should have since I lived in Japan. Haha. ...I also had to tell a friend that if he wants to go to a concert in Japan, he has to join the fan club AND do the lottery, also providing a Japanese Address, can be all in all traumatizing. I really hope, the Pokemon Restaurant is not too crowded now. Gonna be back in Japan from mid of February on. See you in Tokyo!
