by the sounds of your farming operation you never have a slow day, summer or winter with having that many cows to milk and feed and clean daily. u might might be the biggest farm kids that i have found on You Tube but i just found a farm kid from Kentucky whom farm 2500 acres or more, but its really really hard to understand him with his southern accent plus he talks super fast plus he stutters . i think he or they get a double crop off each year with first wheat planted, harvest then oats or barley planted over the wheat stubble, but like i just said its kinda hard to fully understand him, but am sure i will figure him out better after a while. he said they were harvesting their wheat on May 15 thats the same time we plant wheat up here, so thats why they can get 2 crops off a year, as of monday they had 300ac of corn left to combine.

my error, that kid from kentucky they planted 2500 of corn plus other crops so he did not tell me their total acres , just thinking about the differences in hay crops your region gets compared to here. i asked my cousin how many times do they cut their hay fields he said 1 main time then if we get lots of rain another half size after harvest is completed, seen the iowaboys getting 4th cutting finished, am just wondering if the ummmm region has more humidity there that you can get 4 cutting of hay of each field. sorry i know u hate these messages here, but i don't got $ for a iphone plus the monthly user charges, much easier to use the family internet system with my laptop and it costs me zero $ so yea i don't know if i can get that instagram or snapchat on a laptop to chat with u. may just have to stop.

yea i am the one with the big mouth who leaves comments, just thinking about your farm compared to the other kid from your state, no comparsion at all. they are like ummm 50+years behind in there farming practices, they use a corn picker to harvest their corn then put the whole cobs into ummm wire corn cribs. he only showed video and never explained stuff i had to describe stuff to other farm channels to learn what they were even doing. i am just guessing but i bet u have a combine not a corn picker to harvest your corn.

We have an axial flow 6088 to harvest grain corn and a john Deere 7780 prodrive chopper to do silage. we also have 1000 milking cows so its kinda required

u better speed things up down there cause its turning WHITE up here tonite, and just under 10% of the harvest has been done. The old old timers predicted a extra extra early snow fall for this year and looks like they are right, if this keeps up it will be worst than last years harvest when 18% was done and during Christmas week the weather was the best it was in 3 months and every farm was out harvesting, but it did not last long as the rest was harvested in May, the time everyone up here seeds/plants crops
