Good to hear there are many more projects. Making great progress on this one - d6 clears real well on the smaller trees. New teeth after all that stumping (dare I remind you) is not surprising.

The way you were last working clearing with the dozer was similar to the way I was taught years ago. You open up the patch clearing long paths and then push the material you knock down into windrows in the area just cleared. A person can proceed across tremendous acreage that way quickly and efficiently, leaving windrows of brush and trees across the property. Then you can pile it to be burned, or just make breaks in the windrows and burn the windrows. After logging that was how we cleared areas to facilitate replanting. Nowadays there is often less slash burning, more chipping and even hauling the chips for hog fuel. Nice job. Nick, North West Farmer (Oregon, USA)

I remember when I was a kid, I see a D8 plowing through hard woods that were at least 3 foot thick and maybe more! Had no troubles at all making its way up the side of our back 40. Dad went up and cut and brought down all the full length trees for firewood! late 60s early 70s! Then that dozer looked huge! The blade was taller than I was, and I was tall for my age! Long story that goes with this! 🍺🍺

Good progress there Chris. Whatever the outcome of obtaining new bucket teeth, might be worth carrying a spare set, despite the dead stock price implications. Bucket with missing teeth might be even more expensive for as long as that situation lasts. Must be really frustrating. Hope it comes right soon for you. Be well.😉

The D6 does a great job and the view starting at 37:43 really shows it off. You push over trees back up then push again with the rake in the ground pushes up the trunk. The view from the driver's seat doesn't show it doing much.

The D6 dozer does a great job with those size trees making a path through the woods. I thought you were going to add about 12 inches of pipe onto the exhaust? Reduced black exhaust on the frame, better breathing and maybe less noise ...

Hey Chris, love the content. Have you ever considered doing a video where you share the feedback from some of your customers? I would love to see and hear some of the comments they come up with long after you leave the jobsite. We all know Bealy is going to wax lyrical about you, (fanntastic vids from both of you BTW) But how about some of the others that never made vlogs? Stayed incognito, etc. The minnow pond you did so long ago with all those spindly willows? The storage units you built so much drainage and many pads for? That pond rehab that you and John hauled soooo much mud from to the top of the hill? You work such long days and hours, how about just strolling around with the camera for a few days rest and relaxation and give us updates on old projects?

I remember watching a video where you replace those teeth and thinking the pin system was inadequate seem to me like there was no way they were going to stay on, i did not comment on it at the time. it never ceases to amaze me the power of your excavator when it is swiveling. you are able to knock over trees in that manner. my little mini excavator (tb235) has almost zero swivel power. I don't know if that's even normal? but I assume that it is😅. Great vid👍🇺🇸
