I also have many photos from before and during World War I and World War II. These are from my grandfathers. One was a medic in WW1 in Verdun France and then in WW2 in the 3rd Panzer Army, Wehrmacht, in Russia. The other first sergeant of a 10th Army anti-aircraft gun in Italy. These photo albums not only tell the story of my family but also of the time and the country.

Easiest way I’ve found to strip that AL wire without a stripper is- cut in 20’ pieces then put into oven, without ole lady knowing, heat for a couple minutes then it’ll peel off like butter baby!!

If it was aluminum wire you need to get your ass back with a pair of cable cutters. You can get them at harbor freight for 30$ … my yard takes it stripped for .75 a pound! Well worth it if you have a wire stripper

That's a photograph - silver gelatin print to be precise (when you angle the photo a bit you can see silver shiny stuff; there was real silver in the print process) . It was a panoramic photo.
