The story of one sky, a mini film by Dimash who composed the music and wrote the story. Three years in the making, the most expensive video ever, I’m told. Stunning, shocking, Dimash uses several vocal techniques. Beautiful music, fantastic acting by him too. Reactors are often moved to tears with the story. Please react to it.

The song in which Dimash flirted most obviously and with the greatest success with the audience was Opera 2 in the second stage of The Singer contest in 2017 in China! In the end, there wasn't a woman in the audience or among the contestants who didn't fall in love with him. It was read in their eyes! By abstracting the lyrics (which the Chinese did not understand because they were in Russian), Dimash did what he wanted with the audience! Obviously this through the music and stage presence!

I love Dimash’s lower register. And, much like Mitch Grassi from PTX, everyone just focuses on their high notes and ignore their gorgeous lower ranges

yes, that was the original version ~25 years ago, composed by Igor, and now reworked for Dimash. But there is also a third somewhat different version from 10 and 15 years ago done by Lara Fabian which is also available on youtube. And all three versions have Igor himself at the piano ! Thus YES, Maggie, there is a connection, and even more than one :-)

This is one of the most beautiful songs performed by Dimash. His approach is different from the Alla Pugacheva’s version but gorgeous and very intimate too. Many singers is Russia agreed that Dimash’s rendition is the best. I love those initial songs that make you feel immerse in that moment of reflection late at night while you are in bed talking on the phone with your significant other or just thinking about your feelings … awesome!!! 💙💛🔝❤️🎤👏👏👏👏👏

⭐️ The bald piano player IS Igor Krutoy himself. He first saw Dimash perform Sinful Passion at the New Wave - he was the guy in a white shirt in the first row giving him a standing ovation. Since then, the two have collaborated, first on revivals of old Krutoy hits like this one, then on songs Igor composed specifically for Dimash’s voice, such as Olympico, Passione, Your Love, I Miss You, Okay, etc. Dimash has spent three years on composing a vocal masterpiece superimposed on a mini-movie entitled The Story of One Sky. First presented at the Congress of World Leaders (following which Pope Francis awarded him a Medal of Honor), and officially premiered at Dimash’s Stranger concert on September 23 in Almaty (where I couldn’t stop sobbing; well I wasn’t the only one). I’m so impressed you are already familiar with Alla’s original version so you can fully appreciate Dimash’s version. Can you imagine how Igor feels about his song being a super hit TWICE? No wonder he came out of retirement especially to work with Dimash. No doubt you will be even more impressed with Igor’s composing new songs especially tailored for Dimash’s voice and range like Olympico, Your Love (Lara Fabian did the lyrics), Know and Passione.

Another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. I have watched this performance countless times over the past year, and I am still moved to tears each time. This will always be one of my favorite Dimash performances. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this song 25 years ago for Alla Pugacheva and modified it for Dimash to sing for this concert given in honor of Mrs. Pugacheva on April 8, 2019, in Moscow. As you probably already know, Igor Krutoy came out of retirement to compose masterpieces for Dimash after watching his performance of Sinful Passion in 2018. He is finally able to compose music without constraints placed on him by the vocal limitations of ordinary singers; high notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will be able to perform. Someone explained on another person's page the different elements of the song. There are three sections: In the first and longest, Dimash addresses the audience, describing his dream-like love. In the middle section, Dimash lives the dream. Notice he disengages from the audience; his eyes are closed, then he opens them and looks up. The audience has ceased to exist for him. In the final section, he wakes, notices the audience again, then tells them how the dream made him feel. Which is energized!

I'm not sure I have this right, but it seems to me I remember that this was some kind of celebration or something done in Alla Pugacheva's honor? Krutoy wrote it for her, and allowed Dimash to sing his interpretation of the piece (this performance was a few years ago.) Or I am imagining that--but it sure seems like that is what I have heard. Maybe someone can tell me? Anyway, any time you see Igor at the piano, he wrote the song.

Sorry but Alla’s version is nothing compared to this ❤❤❤❤❤❤. It’s my favourite Dimash performance. Some of his mid range notes make me weak at the knees and I never ever tire of listening to that last note. Well I never tire of the whole song of course. But certain notes in this still affect me the same every time I hear them, though I have listened to it hundreds of times. No words to describe how superb it is 💞💞💓💓💖💖💗💗
