Home Free is an American a cappella group of five vocalists, Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Starting as a show group, they toured around 200 shows a year across the United States. The group competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013. They sang an arrangement of Hunter Hayes' "I Want Crazy," as their final competitive song, earning the group $100,000 and a recording contract with Sony.

Austin's girlfriend was in the studio with him when this was recorded, he was singing to her. If you haven't already, you should check out Austin singing "Bring Him Home", he does it solo with a piano assist.

Home Free’s cover of When A Man Loves A Woman pays deep homage to Percy Sledge but is not merely an imitation. By their skills, they have made it something new and their own without any major changes. Austin’s vocals are terrific. And the backing is just so fine and new. The backing on the original is just instruments. Loved your reactions. 💑💑💑 The surprise video message from Austin was fabulous. You now have more than twice that many subscribers and still growing! And Austin and Rob did do some opera, which you later reacted to. I remember seeing you doing this video live. This was part of the Road to Santa Fe series from a while back. And that drama llama summer. 🙄

This is a GREAT cover of this song. I love how you enjoyed every little thing Austin did. After posting this, I hope you took a few minutes to just sit and enjoy it. 🙂I noticed you seem to be using your mouse to go back just a few seconds. That's pretty unlikely after she attacked the band viciously a few months ago because their distribution company wouldn't allow her to make a few more dollars out of other people's work. The whole situation had been resolved and she went ahead anyway with her venomous post. The band will have nothing to do with her.

They started reducing the volume when he started using his falsetto. His ability to move from chest to head to falsetto so smoothly is depressing to mere mortal tenors like me. I love his voice.

@@patriciamcl54 Watched that livestream. The issue was with the company hired by the record company to monitor usage of Home Free and other of their artists material. Not with Home Free and it's management team, who want react channels to cover their work because they realize it promotes the band. Also as long as she follows the rules of You Tube and does her videos in a way that does not infringe copyright. Why shouldn't she be paid for her work? She also did not attack anyone, she just wanted to figure out why it was happening and fix the issue if she could.

@@doberski6855 Sorry, you're not quite right. She attacked the band in a video after the livestream, and specifically attacked their manager, who had been trying to sort out the situation. He got it sorted but she still put up the post, which basically told people to stay away from the band. The mess was solely of her own making, because she did not follow the rules for monetarisation. She has a bloody nerve putting up old videos, but only what can be expected from her.

@@patriciamcl54 Guess I missed that post. If she is not following rules then she deserves to be slammed. Band manager fixes the issue and she still bad mouths the band, that is a garbage move. Mind you have heard from other KZfaqrs, some of those rules on monetization are kind of confusing and hard to follow.

This was during Covid…&, it was just him & Amberly in the studio….he was singing to her…….They are so darned cute together….. (she’s in all 3 of the “STARGAZER TRILOGY” videos…..you’d love those …Austin wrote All 3 of the songs. He wrote “PLAYING WITH FIRE”….oh, dear…..it’s SMOKIN’ HOT 🔥🔥💗🔥🔥 1……8….looks like Austin…He’s so down to earth &, such a nice guy …. Love his critters. 💗🔥🙃‼️

I would like to suggest and request you consider reacting to a song by Jack Jones - he is a very talented and gifted singer - a perfect song to react to is called "What are you doing the rest of your life" by Jack Jones (written by Michael Legrand) - Jack Jones was one or Frank Sinatra's and Tony Bennett's favorite singers ever!! He sings with Superb Tone, amazing intonation breath control and is a Master Vocalist with an amazing range!! You'd love his singing - trust me!

This was during lockdown and Austin was the only one in a studio. The rest of the guys have studios in their homes across the country. Usually in a closet, and is sent to their producer in Minnesota. Worked very well for them in lockdown, they put out some awesome music.

I don't believe this was recorded in a studio. Tim did an interview describing how Darren Rust (member of The Blenders and owner of Skyline Studios) had the members buy special microphones and everything was produced remotely from home. Tim mentioned that there was no longer any reason to pay expensive studio fees. Darren applies multiple filters with software while mixing.
