Operating CW Mobile

I had a lot of comments over the past couple of months asking whether it is safe operating CW while mobile. I just wanted to put this video together to show what I do and work a station doing POTA...
… and I did eventually find out that I worked K5KUA!

The guy flys a plane. Pretty sure he can walk and chew gum at the same time. Driving and keying should not be too much a distraction.

This was cool... I've done morse code on my horn, but nothing this good...LOL. Have you ever considered using some type of strap on your thigh to hold the key/paddle in place? Looks like the /M kept throwing him off...Not many /M's on CW LOL. 73 de K7LZZ

Very cool doing QRP Mobile AND CW! I’m 75/100 towards Mobile DXCC but, so far, it’s been all SSB. I’ve been practicing copying CW in my head, can do 20wpm stationary, for those CW-only DX stations. I use my Voice Memo app to record details, especially on contest weekends, then log the QSOs in my phone when I’m stopped. Used to operate QRP Mobile, SSB, with a 817ND for several years. 73 de WB3CFN/m
