I really like this product. The difference of all grains, beans and nuts are amazing and the variety what I can come up with is almost infinite. Being an Organic gardener, I have several different fruits, nut trees and a large variety of seasonal vegetables. The seeds from the squash are awesome as well, just like the pumpkin seeds and most will store through winter and early spring here in middle Indiana

You really need to turn down the volume on the music, it makes it very hard to hear the voice instruction.

Taste in baked bread, and lost nutrients over time. It is reported that wheat berries, once cracked, lose up to 40% of their nutritional value. So store-bought bread and other wheat products have lost much of their nutrients by the time they get placed in your shopping cart. I have baked bread only a few times so far using flour out of this mill, and the bread is great. After about a week and half, once the bread starts getting old, it THEN tastes like store bought bread. It was an eye opener.

I guess if I wanted to grind extra large Fava beans into flour I would need to chop them up in a blender first then dump them into the mill.

you could try the coarsest setting, if they break in that, won't need to use the blender.
