I played hundreds of hours. This game was so broken, but working around its shortcomings was worth it. My greatest moment was identifying a human opponent in the middle of the road during a choke point match and rolling over him with the front wheel of my Mi-17. Whenever you nailed a human opponent it made a "squish" noise. Matches were utter chaos and carnage. Man I miss playing this game.

This game was the reason I threw my 360 in the trash and bought myself a gaming PC. Many people do not know, but the AI in this game is still the best in 2022. And if you follow closely you can see some AI lay down and give up

Wish I was more open to other shooters than COD at the time. Because I bought and enjoyed OF. Felt clunky and visually bad on the PS3, but I enjoyed the tactical and realistic gritty nature of the game. The night ops were on another level! I loved it.

This game kind of lives on in arma since that series is born from flashpoint

dragon rising is more of an rrts and arma is mmore of a fps. theyre both realistic but kinda in different ways. in flashpoint its more about commanding ai while applying suppression and giving quick concise movements

the arma engine born with issues is very hard to program. Vbs3 (the military version of Arma) also change a new engine the Vbs blue cause of this.

Awesome sim , sad they never develop more this series and add open tools to edit or create new units , vehicles and maps. , may have been a big rival to arma series if those would happen. Arma series need a big rival . Arma series still alive cause community nothing else. Engine and ai still suck...

This is still the best simulator now If only they still worked together on a super sim basically would destroy Common games like "call of same old shit" (cod)an battle the toilet 20 millions yr later (Battlefield) You dknt see games like this now

This was setup as an actual dedicated server that only a few had access to but YES you should be able to do it with Hamachi

PR or squad are not bad also but are more foccused in mp and are a quite simple. Im really waiting for a very good military sim like this. Hope Arma4 change it and they dont give us more of the same...
