God damn man. Title is way off! New title: Opie and Dan Soder discuss sports for 33 min. Then Anthony chimes in and subject shifts to Steve Harvey

Opie can definitely hold his own in sports related conversation but God, does he come across as a suck up, constantly asking for the guest's opinion or begging them to agree with his . He does do a good job of making his guests comfortable.

The poor fella just wanted friends but didn’t realize his shitty habits were preventing it. He’s a great example of someone who just couldn’t accept their place in something and tore it all down

Another fun face about Capernick that Dan would enjoy, just like early 90’s Sergeant Slaughter in the WWF when he was looking to be relevant again he changed his gimmick. Frat boy guy wasn’t working so he went with angry militant and got a Netflix deal out of it. Not bad for a mediocre QB.

More like politely holding back and letting a humourless conversation peter out. Soder was also politely conversing being a guest on the show.

What you mean is waiting for this boring ass sports conversation to end.

Ray Lewis is the absolute man…best player in NFL history..the Ravens DESTROYED the 49ers and only a staged power outage kept the game close

I love these guys but Steve is hilarious as a standup and definitely wasn’t the weak link of KofC.
@mikehink40622 жыл бұрын
I’m with you on both fronts but now that I’m really thinking about it, when you go down the lineup of KofC there wasn’t a weak link - which I know saying that is the easy way out - but picking the weak link of that roster is like picking who is the weak link of a 4-on-4 team of prime MJ, Kobe, Lebron, and Magic.

@@mikehink4062 exactly. They’ve attacked other comics I like too. I get it, it’s the cellar crew “clique” vs the world but still..
@mikehink40622 жыл бұрын
@@boggletelescope1883 yeah I feel ya on the “Cellar Crew” thing. At the end of the day they introduced me to so many more great conics than they ever turned me off of so I’m thankful for that. I guess that wasn’t worded the greatest - if I like a comic, nothing someone else says is going to make me stop liking them or change what I find funny but I think you get the point I was getting at. Man, I miss the good ‘ol days of listening to the show, I grew up (well, early teens on) listening to O&A with my pops anytime I was at his garage (he was a mechanic) and not at school. Same with Ron & Fez (RIP Fez) but I was lucky enough to grow up and live in Daytona Beach, FL where R&F were on a local station before they were ever syndicated. Going back and listening to these old clips brings back good memories though, just a shame the show had to... go down... the way it did.
@boggletelescope18832 жыл бұрын
@@mikehink4062 that’s what’s up man. I didn’t discover o&a until a few years ago. Actually started listening to Patrice “Black Phillip Show” first then kept hearing about o&a show. I wish I had listened back then so I could kinda be in the times of it going on. It’s fun to listen to now but it’s all ancient history archives lol
@mikehink40622 жыл бұрын
@@boggletelescope1883 yeah bro, even though I listened when I could back in the day there’s far more I’ve heard thanks to KZfaq than I ever heard live. You honestly couldn’t have found a better way into the show than through Patrice btw - what a legend. Glad you found the show and can share in the entertainment/humor it can bring someone if they aren’t too serious to laugh at themself as well.
