Edgy comedy is kind of like jazz music, you need to develop an ear for it or it just sounds offensive. Non-comedians don't have highly trained senses of humour and won't necessarily take every joke at face value. I think Chris had an emotional reaction and then found himself in a weird position of wanting to stick to his guns and stand up for his friend but also not wanting to be the oversensitive guy who can't take a joke.

Yup. Completely shit the bed. I really don’t like Howard stern expect for his Norm interviews but at least he has good video. O&A messed so bad so much, with not firing Steve C earlier, and whoever they wanted. More cameras, less Opie and Sam, and more Steve C/E Rock fat and lazy beating up would have been great.

Because Sirius was cheap as fuck and it was still early to have full video podcasts much less radio shows for 3-4 hours. The boys complained about it when they'd go to their friends' podcast and see their setups were way more sophisticated than what Sirius had for them. It sucks but as much as O&A felt like the first true podcast, they were a little too early for full video streams, and it was still a radio program.
