It's still not as bad as the shit they find from morning zoo stations. Opie was definitely out of touch with the humor at times, but usually he gets the hint and shuts up after a few seconds.

Fun fact: it’s Opie’s fault this show was Jocktober’d. While I was listening to another episode, Opie ‘Hacky Radio Bit’ Hughes wouldn’t shut up about *FeZzEs fRoM ArOuNd tHe wOrLd* and a listener called in to report… *Intern Adam* from 107.5 The River aka Woody & Jim. 😆 That’s how Sam found their show. Thank you for posting this..i heard bits and pieces of it on the way to work when it happened and caught maybe 5 mins on replay.....Opie is so friggin unconfortable and it made me laugh uncontrollably

But he did find Anthony. He recognized the talent and brought him into radio. Anthony wasn’t that great when he started, either. Listen I know Opie isn’t funny but the revisionist history is old. You’re listening to a bit that was his idea. It wasn’t Sam’s idea. It was Opie’s. Give him shit for being lame, but also give him credit for creating the show that some people are still listening to almost a decade after it died.

Opie has some personality flaws which caused Anthony and Jim to separate themselves from him when the show ended …but to somewhat redeem himself, he should reach-out to Jim Chandler and reunite together on a morning radio show somewhere …implementing what not-to-do by the lessons of Joctober …being a non-douchey yet radio-friendly duo 📻 “Opie & Jim” has a nice ring to it 😜

Yes it's extremely uncomfortable when he brings it up and the record skips. I'm thinking it's because they know how sensitive Fezzy is and maybe don't want to be mean. Or it could be that it's just not a funny bit and has no legs.

Sam knew what he was doing, when Opie realized who Jim was, Sam intentionally said "Who Woody?" in order to throw off the scent. Then when Opie said he did radio with Jim, Sam goes "oh yes" as if he didn't know(again poorly acted). Then afterwards Sam says "This is the magic of Jocktober".

Their parody is about the black berry, the lyrics make sense their song im denying that, and just because it has the same amount of syllables doesnt mean it flows in the same way, they actually sing it at the same speed of black and yellow but it sounds off because it doesnt rhyme with the actual song, but thats just my opinion i guess im not trying to start some big arguement this already went on to long, have a good one man

It's a song about the blackberry device. So that part make sense. 'Black and Yellow' is four syllables. So is 'My blackberry.' It may seem off, but it's not shoehorned in. It probably seems that way because of how fast they were trying to sing it.

How is it not? Its just shoved in there and doesn't fit the flow of the original song at all and with song parodies you dont need to have the exact same rhyme scheme for the whole song but the chorus you should have the exact same one
