Forest Service officers have the discretion to give citations and tickets to anyone who doesn't leave. Attendees of the Rainbow Family Gathering have differing opinions on the matter.

Having been to a few rainbow gatherings I can assure you that it’s not all peaceful. Definitely women get raped and fights break out and the forest gets trashed even though some are very peaceful, caring people that try to clean it up. It’s never as clean as it was before the gathering. Hippies are delusional

Didn't listen to the video, did you? They needed a permit for safety reasons and failed to get one, and it is on Indian ancestoral lands you all claim it's a government violation. All they had to do was get the permit, but these self entitled yuppies think they can do what ever where ever. Rules and regulations are there for the protection of these areas if not some one,group,gathering, or unapproved use destroys they area there won't be an area. Look the woman even said she had to go around and tell people to put out fires. That group was not about following rules or laws.

“Native American lands” what land, specifically? What tribe, specifically? They were killing each other for land for thousands and thousands of years, different tribes, different races, they didn’t keep records and the surviving tribes can’t even tell you the names of the people there before them. “Native Americans” did not just spring out of a geyser with special rights over the continent. They killed for it just like the rest of the world. “Native” to what? Earth? Like all of us?
