Emily Osment is an icon in my opinion. I thought ‘Spy Kids’ and ‘Dadnapped’ were her highlights along with ‘Hannah Montana’. Also, a writer’s fans would either be better than detectives or so savage that you lose hope in life. Hopefully the former.

there are a couple of lesser-known DCOMs from this era that were unbelievably unhinged. Tiger Cruise (2004) and The Color of Friendship (2000) were both insane. we didn't have Disney Channel when I was a kid, but my sister is 10 years younger than me so I ended up with a guilty pleasure for a lot of the songs from these movies. Starstruck was not great but Something About the Sunshine and Hero were bangers.

Love to see that Lemonade Mouth is in it's rightful place in Elite. I believe you are missing the critically acclaimed DCOM "The Color of Friendship". It was released in 2000, so it is a bit old for us Gen Z folk. However, Disney aired it nearly every Friday night in February through the 2010's. It is no doubt Elite! "Read It and Weep" - Unhinged but tasteful "Phineas and Ferb Movie" - Slayed, but not hard enough

I will never forgive Disney for Avalon High. Avalon High by Meg Cabot is one of my favorite books and is so good. I was super excited when I first heard they were adapting it, but they did the book dirty. In the name of “girl power”, they changed the roles around and completely altered the plot of the story. I’d love to hear your review of it, but I recommend reading the book first. It’s a quick read. They also came out with a continuing story in graphic novel format. 😊

I sympathise with Sharpay but was and always will be team Gabriella because she literally did nothing wrong or incongruent with the actions of a 16 year old girl. Plus for there to be teams we would have to be pining them against each other for Troy and, like, Troy never liked Sharpay, he only hung out with her because she had his future in her hands. I'm sorry girl bosses and rich people apologists.

My fave movie is Rip Girls and Secret Society of Second-Born Royals. I would put Rip Girls in the tasteful tier and also put Secret Society of Second-Born Royals in past my time. And yes, this is also a DCOM and is following in the footsteps of Princess Protection Program but it's more of a close to the present day so yeah, it's true. The question of the day is: who do you recognize in this film who was also in other movies DCOMs or not?

Just so you know, in Frenemies, Jake and his dog had a fight because a popular mean girl was using Jake and his dog was the only one to see it. Eventually Jake dumped popular mean girl and ended up with the right girl. I just hope they do an interconnecting story DCOM again but with a better plot.

Pls do the Avalon High video! I recently watched it for the first time and was NOT READY for how unhinged it is! The plot is fun, kind of reminded me of Scream 2 lol, but the romance DESERVES JAIL 😭😭😭 Also, the second HSM IS the best one, peak summer childhood nostalgia and so many iconic scenes for me
