@shwetnisha58892 жыл бұрын
@@HashimKhan-bc7jc yes it is transposition. But this makes the Rx more complicated one.. always prescribe the simple one.. and rest depends on patient that which power he/she prefers or accepts during subjective refraction.

Why you substract +1.50 ? You did not put working lens from the start. Please explain
@OptometryAcademy3 жыл бұрын
Here, I am doing retinoscopy from a distance of 66cm. For 66cm we need to subtract+1.50 DS from the retinoscopic value.

For cyl value it's B-A or A- B ?? in both examples they are different
@pretty_xoxo10493 жыл бұрын
Why did you used formula B-A in first example but A-B in second example?
@supriyodeysarkar44783 жыл бұрын
Exactly,even I have the same query.Why is it so??
@OptometryAcademy3 жыл бұрын
The value which is taken as sphere is to be subtracted from the remaining spherical value. Please don 't get confused by A-B and B-A. A & B are only for notation Now, (cylinder power = A-B) Here B is our spherical component of our prescription Cylinder=B-A Here A is our spherical component of our prescription The number that is being subtracted in both the example is our spherical component.
