To loop the sample: - while on the track and instrument - enter sample mode (rec + stop) - press shift to enter alt mode - spin to the right on the red dial/knob. It should be set to loop. Using the mobile app will work to visualize this. Another way to accomplish the same result would be to just hold the track button and select loop instead of gate

on the sampled track press stop+rec (this order) and then green is sample start, blue is sample end, yellow is pitch (or -/+ buttons) when pressing shift there is a new "page" so blue green is loop start, blue is loop end, yellow is trig/gate/LOOP (

For me, the exchanging, creating, loading of sounds have always been something I've avoided, this helps a lot. I love your style and sense of humor, very impressive list of accents. On point vid, Luke! Made a sample in Ableton from Moog Arturia and loaded to OP-Z sounds proper. Woohoo, will do my real Moog and guitar maybe :) now I worked hard deserve a treat, gonna check your music on SC :)

There is a bug in some units. When you unmount the opz the green lights remain green anx nothing happens. Just by accident i found in a obscure post that if you press PLAY after the unmount it loads......and it works!!!

I had a concert in Berlin during the Superbooth 2019 and prepared a 10 Tracks performance but when I try to load up the battery before the concert and other performer start their systems (switch on the devices) I got a total deletion on my OP-Z. It was horror because nothing works anymore. No sounds , no tracks and no OS was on the OP-Z anymore. I guess it was a total erasure of the internal OP-Z memory because of a currency power peak which erase the complete internal memory. Be carefully and load up the device before concert.

Is it possible to loop the synthesizer sample so that there is something like wavetable synthesis?

Nice video Luke. However, I am now in 1.2.12 firmware and the exact 6 sec requirement is not necessary anymore, neither the browser script from Gero. Only a mono aiff file of 16bit 44.1khz upto 6sec long is good enough. Tested thoroughly.

Nice tutorial. It would be great if someone could develop a way of evaluating if a sample contains sound for all 6 seconds and if it is exactly 6 seconds. Also I would love it if there were a way to capture what the optimal envelope settings should be in order to recreate the sound so it can be quickly adjusted once imported to the op-z.

Great video and a terrible user experience from OP-Z :( I just got mine, learning it and I honestly thought it's an easy-peasy task to get on new samples. Omg, how wrong I was :)
