The Pro 5000 is a solid electric toothbrush, there is no denying this.
It offers a fantastic clean, a reasonable box contents, Bluetooth connectivity and 10 days of battery life.
There are brushes that offer better battery life, there are those that offer more in the box, but often you lose something else to gain what is missing from the 5000, or you have to pay more.
Investing in the 5000 is a smart choice if you want a capable electric toothbrush, that offers something a bit more than most.

I’m glad for this review . Got mine on sale at Target , told by my dentist I needed this or one of the better ones . Ended up only paying $70 for this and an amazing deal !

Would you still recommend this brush compared to other newer brushes around the same price around 70 dollars in my case

It still cleans the teeth well. So little reason not to recommend. Newer brushes around the same price are likely to have an improved design, better battery life along with some other subtle differences. Pick the one you feel most comfortable buying.

Yes because it has a mode and a power button. Oral b brush with only a power button require you to cycle through brushing modes, before turning the brush off.

Is there a reason to use anything other than daily clean mode?

The short answer is no. Some find the other modes such as sensitive more comfortable to use as less intense but that is personal opinion.

Sensitive and gumcare mode are for those who have sensitive or inflame gums. Sensitive: Clean Gum Care: To massage and stimulate the blood flow in the gums.

Whitening mode is polishing a users teeth. Like after using Daily Clean mode a users teeth would feel much cleaner than smooth. Whiten mode will make a users teeth feel smoother like the came back from the dentist, while a users teeth will feel clean, but not as much as Daily Clean/Pro Clean(Deep Clean) modes. And smooth teeth are good for a users enamel surface.

Good review. Too bad it's NiMH batteries. I went to their Li-Ion toothbrush and there is no comparison - much more powerful and better cleaning.

For some reason, the quadrant timer where it beeps every 30 seconds stopped working, so now it doesn't vibrate and will just work without any 30 second indicators. How can I change this on my Pro 5000?

Have you made any changes to the brush that you know of such as setting stuff up in the smartphone app? If you have connected to the app, have you checked the settings to see if this is enabled?

@@ElectricTeeth there isn't even an option on the app to switch between the quadrant timer and regular 2 min timer
