How do we know this music was the best and timeless, because we loved it then and we love it even more so now, realizing that it will never repeat itself in music, movies or feelings. For those of us who experienced it, what would you give to return to the 80's? How many bands would today sing such a wonderful song about Saint Joan of Arc? What an underrated group. I turned 13 in 1980. It was the best decade of my life, and this song makes me think of everything I've lost as it pays tribute to the patron Saint of France, the Maid of Orleans, Saint Joan.

They were so young when they composed this song in 1981, just let that sink in. An absolute masterpiece. Timeless classic.

I was once hired as a DJ at a wedding and they asked me to play a waltz for the newlyweds to dance to. I played this song and the whole wedding party cheered by the first sounds of it. Not to mention that the bride and the groom loved it, the dancefloor filled quickly and they all thanked me later especially for that stroke of genius to play Maid of Orleans instead of some classical piece (which I failed to bring to the party).
