As a Meat cutter my whole life a porterhouse is simply a New York strip and a filet mignon with the bone. It's one of my favorite steaks Ken man my mouth was watering yes yes YES keep doing these videos Edit. That's why it was so tender on one side Ken 🤣

Meat cutter also, was just about to say same thing. Two steaks for price of one. Cant beat it. Also, ken if you like ribeyes, give the chuck eye center a try..very similar flavor and extremely tender. Poor man's ribeye.

Just because you explained in the video, you only wanted a steak therefore you ordered the second most expensive item on the menu doesn't make up for the fact you still named the title of the video, "Most Expensive Item on the Menu". Misleading title.

It's pretty easy to do this when you pick places that do not have anything on the menu that cost more than $30 or so. Try going to Vegas where a steak house there has a $2.800 steak.

Yes i would like to see u do the most expensive item on the menu.....but this is the second time u did not do the most the expensive item....the first time was something to do with u ate the same food earlier and his time u just did not see the surf and turf? Chucks Roadhouse is such a great place! My family and I always went there before the pandemic.. Amazing food at a cheap price. I cant wait to go back very soon .

That steak was so CHEAP! Wth! I took my partner to a restaurant called Hawksmoor here in Manchester, England for his birthday and he got sirloin which was £30 (almost $52 CAD), and i got t bone which was £32 ($55.50 CAD) just for the steaks alone, sides were extra! They were amazing though and it was a very nice restaurant. Crazy price differences though 😄

Brazilian Picanha is the best steak in my opinion. Have you ever tried it? 😋 also you should do a series trying international dishes from around the world! Ex: feijoada from Brazil, churrasco from Argentina, Gallo pinto from Costa Rica, etc. I think that would be a fun to watch your reactions 👏🏻👏🏻 we love your videos

If it needs sauce, then it's not a good steak. A good steak speaks for itself, no sauce needed. The same for BBQ, the meat should be all you need, if it needs BBQ sauce then it's not good BBQ. I'm from Texas, so I know good steaks and good BBQ!

Eat at grocery store delis. Mix it up between hot food and cold food. I don't know how Canada is situated but every major grocery store in the U.S. has hot and cold food delis.

YUMMO! Spent the day with my daughter at Lake Itasca in MN, headwaters of the Mississipi river. Came home and cooked up some NY strips and sweet corn. No potatoes but had a caesar salad. Great day for steaks :)

Hey Ken, another awesome video! I'm going to suggest this again in hopes that one day it gains enough traction to get your attention. I want to suggest you do a frugality challenge. Go to several different restaurants (drive thru or otherwise) over a 24 hour period and try to get a main and a drink (side would be great, too, if possible, but minimum of main and drink) for $5 or $6. Let's see how well you can stretch that dollar!

The New York Strip Steak cooked Medium Well is always my go to favorite, pair that with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and wash it all down with an ice cold beer.....I would be down for a nap in no time.

I love steak we have Miller and Carter here in the uk thats pretty good. especialy their onion loaf. I personaly would have picked peppercorn sauce over gravy for my steak =).

As much as I like various sauces and condiments to dip fries in and what not, I think a nicely done steak cooked and seasoned properly doesn't need any sauce. Just my opinion. I enjoy a good Porterhouse, too. Expensive, but worth it. Prime Rib is a close second.

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had was at Chucks Roadhouse in Belleville. I am usually very forgiving, my steak (ordered MR) came out burnt and well done, missing a side, server never came around after. I had to eat my burnt steak and we waited for the bill after finishing we eventually decided to get our coats on and stand by the table to see if we could find her. We ended up having to ask the bartender to find our server after a total of at least 30 minutes without seeing her.

That sure looks delicious! Unfortunately I cannot eat red meats and many other products due to my illness, but to make up for it I watch your videos so I can enjoy the food by watching! To some people that may seem like torturing, but I find it comforting as I can at least imagine the smell and taste.
