I have an Oreck XL signature 2 form 2011. nothing too fancy but I wanted a simple Oreck that was the older set up. I found mine for $25 used in very good condition at a local pawnshop :)

You are exactly right with the rattle noise it's the bottom guard pieces. I took mine out and problem solved 😎😄

My dad has an Oreck vacuum btw it runs with battery no cord. It’s called cordless if it runs with the battery.

Very good review! My wife is looking for a "top of the line" vacuum, and found the Oreck Elevate Conquer Power Team, which is almost $800! It looks to me like that model is the same as the Oreck Elevate Conquer, but with an additional canister vacuum, which I don't think she wants. Do you know if that's correct? I don't mind spending the money for a very good vacuum that she will like, but I don't want to spend more just for an accessory that she will not use.
