This sounds terrible, the double reed block is an experiment to see if two reed blocks would give a nice sound like on a Drapers Orchestral Organette which has 2 sets. We have tried having a double-chamber reed block made like a Drapers, but the lowest 4 notes would only play on the workbench. This time there are two normal reed blocks mounted behind each other, but clearly this does not work either.
Has anyone else every tried to make any kind of double-reed organette of this type or any other, we would like to hear from you.
