Thank you! I had the rattan doors vor ages on my notepad and nearly forgot them, as they were not deliverable for a long time. Add lots of plants, it'll definitely improve your view! Choose ones that trail down, use support so they can grow to the side as well (ivy for example) and ones that grow in height, like a little tree or whatever works with the light you can have. Add pots on the floor infront of the window as well. I can see you transform it into a little green wonderland

Be careful with ivy! They can damage the house quite a lot and I wouldn’t risk it in a renting space. Maybe try less invasive plants instead

I lived in a basement room for awhile, too. I turned my window well into a small fairy garden with lots of succulents and moss and such - stuff that can thrive in low/indirect light. I hung up some fairy lights and different crystal-like baubles and wind chimes from the grate covering the well. Turned out really beautiful. I had a bunch of lil fairy figures and mini things

For improving the outside view, definitely plants! If it wasn’t a rental I’d suggest painting a fun mural, I wonder if there’s a way to do that and then paint over it when you move?

what about painting the mural on a board or other surface that can be fitted up against the planter outcropping outside the window? That way it's not permanent and you could change it out whenever you want the view to change.

You accomplished SO much in a relatively short time. Well 'time' is relative, lol, but as someone who is constantly struggling to 'find the time' to tackle post-move organisation and renovation prep , this is lovely motivation. For the bedroom window view, perhaps a fresh coat of paint. And it looks as if there's a plant bed , so I'm sure you could put some new plants in there, including some that grow to hang down that wall.

I would recommend mural on the wall, surrounded by the plants. You can draw an open window with beautiful view or the road to the beach. Anything that makes you feel relaxed. Regarding the plants - you better know what to choose. And thank you for your videos, they are really inspiring.

Having a bedroom in basement is a great idea because it’s for sleeping and having a cool dark place is ideal. We don’t have basements in Australia so it’s a foreign concept. My family is in Germany and my Aunty and uncles home has a basement they converted to extra bedrooms. For me personally I would make a gym in the basement.

i would recommend a huge mirror and a large painting! mirrors balance the little light you have and make the room feel bigger. and since you will be staying in this house for a while, invest in a really cool art piece. also a big rug. sometimes, less is more :) i also love the idea of a reading nook. can't wait for all the transformations 😍😍

It would be great to wire Tericotta pots to a lattice and grow veggies and herbs on the wall out there ! It would look beautiful from inside!

Perhaps you can add a trellis to the wall with some climbing, flowering plants and also a small tree in front of the wall with coloured leaves, like Acer. Another suggestion is a vertical garden but I think this is trickier.

if you search climbing plants on the internet you can find loads of plants and flowers and even roses. If you train them using a garden lattice to go around the wall it will look really pretty eventually..:)

Dein Deutsch ist echt gut! Man versteht sehr gut, was du ausdrücken möchtest und ich bin beeindruckt, wie gut und komplex deine Sätze sind (du hast im zweiten Satz ,,der Nachbar des Mannes" gesagt. Das ist ein Genitiv und sogar Muttersprachler haben teilweise Mühe damit, also wirklich grossen Respekt!👏🏼)

Deine Aussprache ist sehr gut / sauber!😳Besonders für einen Satz mit so schwierigen Wörtern. Your pronunciation is very clear, especially for such difficult words. Your work definitely pays off😊I still know how much I learned for my French class B2 (but thankfully it was just for school so not that much pressure haha). Language learning is so rewarding. Also lovely apartment, good luck with all the makeover stuff.

You could also make a little workout area in your huge bedroom. With a nice yoga corner, a lamp, some nice plants, fairy lights, rattan items... I think that would be super cozy 😊

I felt this so very much! We've been living in half our house because we're waiting for a big renovation in the other half. And it's been like 6 months already and it's daunting... BUT I find that planning even the smallest details helps. And keeping in mind that all of this is temporary and it's fine if things are cluttered right now. 💪 you can do it! Love your videos so much! ^^

I just finished moving this past weekend and now I’m tasked with the unpacking and organizing and finding where I want to place and display my belongings. It’s my fav part of moving but sometimes I still feel overwhelmed by the mess of boxes. This video is relaxing and motivating at the same time, and everything looks so great 😌

The basement window space definitely needs some plants; I think we all agree on that. You could attach some wooden trellis on the walls to make it feel a bit more natural and not so plain concrete. Some type of low warm lighting could help create a cozy mood in the bedroom at night. Maybe a few of those path lights in the planters but battery operated since solar powered won't charge there.

i just moved into a bigger apartment a few weeks ago and i am still unpacking the last few boxes. i still have to organize some spaces. it takes so much time, especially because i have a 8 month old baby. hopefully in a month or so i will have almost everything in order again. love your ideas for my new apartment though!

i think some nice hanging plants could look good in the window, hanging over the concrete, you could also put a mirror outside to reflect more light in?

For the ugly wall, you first need to wash it with bleach and/or a power washer to get it white again. Then you can add a few plants and it will be lovely ! It looks like a shady area so find plants that loves that shade :)
