Design by Valentina Minayeva
Thank you, Valentina Minayeva, for granting me permission to demonstrate your design!
The Taj Mahal Kusudama is put together by 30 units. You fold the units with square paper. You can use Kami paper or duo colored paper - as both sides show and make up that stunning design.
The folding of the modules is not difficult. You can achieve more accurate folds (butterfly folds) if you pre-score certain lines.
I normally fold and assemble at the same time. What I mean is that I fold for example the first 5 modules, then assemble the first star segment. Like this I don't get over tired from folding and have still calm hands while assembling.
I broke down the assembly process into 5 stages. If you find the assembly a bit overwhelming, head over to my website. There I go more into the detail of the assembly of the Taj Mahal kusudama.

I hope you enjoy this Taj Mahal kusudama as much as I did.
Happy Folding!
