If anyone has any questions about the new Halcyon and its Adaptive Circuit, feel free to ask us! Whilst the Halcyon can sound like a Tubescreamer, the circuit inside is vastly different from the classic unit. Allowing for our all new (and unique) Adaptive Circuitry, a circuit that allows the pedal to respond to your playing dynamics and guitar volume, reintroducing the lost bass and treble frequencies as the pedal cleans up. This allows the TS sound to be used in it's classic mid-forward configuration for hard hitting solos and crunchy riffage, but also for a fuller sounding tone when at the edge of breakup or clean. All just by varying your playing dynamics and guitar volume.

Man alive, if you can't afford a newer/ish guitar, how will you ever be able to afford an Origin fx pedal. Now a vid on that little secret would be something worth watching.

I remember when 3-4 years ago all these builders came out with the slogan "not another green overdrive - THIS ONES DIFFERENT!!" This is ridiculous and totally annoying, now the most expensive builders are producing "Not again - Another green overdrive."

My kind of overdrive pedals. I can't stand pedals that color your tone too much. I prefer pedals like this that work with your amp and get the most out of it, which is the entire purpose of an overdrive pedal for me. If you're going to use a pedal that changes your tone too much then you might as well just use a different amp. When a pedal changes the tone too much you lose the dynamics of your amp and to this day I've NEVER heard a pedal that changes an amps characteristics for the better. A good pedal will not made a bad amp sound good, but a bad pedal can make a great amp sound like crap. This Halcyon Green is the sort of pedal I've been looking for. I'm gonna try to find a shop that carries it so I can try it.

A little too “all seeing eye for me”….won’t watch this and you get a dislike

lol nothing new with this pedal. Plenty of tube screamers with a blend knob. Sparkle drive comes to mind and it’s been around forever, same green color and everything. The second version called Sparkle Drive Mod even has the switch for various OD settings exactly like this pedal. They literally even ripped off the switch calling it “mod” I mean cmon. This is a totally redundant, unnecessary pedal.
