She's wearing a wig and has on tons of makeup, good lighting, etc. I have seen her in other things and she looks GREAT but she most certainly has aged. She's just aged well.

Trina R. That's not idea of these "Live" productions. Having the original cast members playing their roles. The idea is to have other actors recreate the original script. But this was just awful. The whole casting was all wrong. 😮😮

@@der22672 I agree with you, other than seeing Lisa looking so close to her original character, and if she agreed to it, she should of played Blair. Marla Gibbs played Florence in the remake of the Jeffersons. John Stewart was horrible. All of the characters should of been younger actors. I still enjoyed the program.

Disclaimer: I didn't watch this show. I did watch the original show years ago. In the "Mary Ann or Ginger"-esque hypothetical of "Jo or Blair", I historically would have said Jo, but this performance may have swayed me. I have read how warm, genuine and humble Lisa Whelchel is, and her ability to not take herself too seriously is on full display here. I commend her, and she has my praise.

I love Lisa Welch. I grew up, watching her on the facts of life. I was a huge fan of that show . I’m not sure if many people know that she was on survivor but I’m watching old episodes of Survivor and on season 25 she is one of the contestants and she does very well & out of all the players on the season only one person recognised her but did not tell anyone instead her & the other person formed a bond together. If you’ve never seen season 25, with Lisa Welch on it, it’s on Paramount.

That was only season one. Then a new director came in and completely revamped the show..

They had her do that just in the thirteen episodes from season 1 because she was so short and two years younger than the other girls.

A number of years ago, I watched Lisa on Celebrity Survivor. She was so sweet and thoughtful and really played the game ethically. I was also surprised at how good she looked considering the women can't wear any make-up on the show. After that, she co-hosted Jeff Probst's talk show for a little while and I wondered why she wasn't acting more or doing more co-hosting jobs, given her good looks, personality and likability. Fast-forward to this live show, and I'm stunned to see her still looking so good!

Jennifer Aniston is undeniably fitter, more naturally sexy, attractive with little makeup - do you have any idea how much stage makeup Lisa was wearing here? You need to take the memory lane rose tinted glasses off and breathe some reality instilling oxygen, little fella. 😂🤢🤮

Jennifer is cute but Lisa just looks beautiful. I hate to say this but being to heavy ages you and so does being to skinny. Lisa just has that curvy healthy body type that guess Hollywood still hates.

Seeing the beautiful Lisa Whelchel singing the "Facts" theme song and looking the same in the Eastland uniform was the absolute best part of this otherwise disappointing handling of these 2 classic shows.
