"We got people who were fans. _Really_ fans." Which is the key to _any_ adaptation from one medium to another. We only started getting good comic book movies once we got comic book fans _making them._ Same deal with tabletop to console/PC: put it in the hands of people who love it.

What an incredible man, really fascinating hearing how he created cyberpunk 2020 but I’d honestly listen to him talk about anything with that voice.

Excellent interview as always Rob. Funny at first I wasn't super hyped for this game, haven't really been the hugest sci fi fan in the past. However after watching these interviews with the developers and people behind the project, how hyped they are, how "cool" they are, how much forethought was put into this project I am actually more hyped for this game than I was previously for some others now. I will DEFINITELY be trying to get my hands on it as soon as it releases and it's to the point that I can't wait to play through it spoiler free and just get totally engulfed in that world! I haven't felt this excited about experiencing a game a in ages! Must be since I played Ocarina of time on N64! This is an amazing time to be a gamer and it's all thanks to people like Pondsmith and the devs and the PlayStation Access channel. Thank you SO MUCH everyone!

As a world builder. :) Cyberpunk has been my life. I'm not even familiar with his material. I know Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Blade Runner, and Spriggan. I have never heard of Cyberpunk until I read Neuromancer a few years back. I have a whole world down to it's foundation. I'm fascinating him talking about the world he built.

Great interview, and loved hearing from the creator in Mike, whom all of us who played and LOVE the table top game knew but to get his thoughts on CD Project Red upcoming game made me even more excited which it was already a day one purchase to me :).
