After a concert organized in Port-au-Prince by upcoming local rappers and ragga singers to pay tribute the late Master Dji, (the father of the Haitian rap and ragga movement) who passed away some weeks earlier on May 21, 1994... several of the performers who showed good to great skills were contacted to be part of a group that a business man named Mario Bregat wanted to create.
After a few meetings, talents such AS BOP, Don MC, Baby One King, Top Adlerman, Wolf Cool MC, Posse X, Top Tchookko, and Money Mike were retained as members of the group. Baby One King suggested the name of ORIGINAL RAP STAFF and the other agreed.
They soon began working on their first single. Weeks later, BAGAY DWÒL was released on radio stations in Haiti and the song become q smash hit. With the popularity of the song, ORS gave a new slogan to the street, and eventually to the Haitian langage.
After the slogan MATCH LA RED landed to the streets by Master Dji's group HAITI RAP & RAGGA in 1993, SA K AP FÈT? BAGAY DWÒL indubitably became the second popular slogan that streets of Haiti borrowed from the Haitian rap movement
