Rangers fan here…shoutout to Orioles fans for being so classy! It can be tough at times since people like to dump on Texas teams (understandably, to a degree), but I never saw any of that from you guys. Sorry this series didn’t go better, but I will be rooting for the Os next year.🙂

As a diehard Orioles fan, I give credit where it’s due. Rangers were thirsty. And they absolutely came to play. Like I said, big Orioles fan, but I love Seager, Heim and Garcia. I had faith in my O’s, but I knew that our pitching was gonna have a hard time with this lineup. I saw them play at Camden yards in the regular season against us, and they kicked us around that day too. It’s ok though. We’re a young team. We’ll be back for more. Now let’s get some pitching this off-season. And maybe another shortstop so we can round out the infield and keep Mateo as a situational hitter/runner.

Rangers fan here. I don't think the future of the O's could be brighter than it is right now. You've got a few young stars that are going to be around for a long time. I didn't expect the Rangers to win the first two series the way they have but they have proven all year that when they get hot, look out. Good luck next season.

The Rangers advance to the ALCS for the first time since 2011. Their first home playoff win (first at Globe Life Field) since Game 5 of the 2011 MLB World Series. The Orioles are swept in a three-game series for the first time since May 13th-15th, 2022 at the Detroit Tigers. The AL East finishes with a combined 0-7 in this year's postseason.

I am so proud of my 2023 Baltimore Orioles. It was an overall magical season. That being said, they were beat in every facet of the game in this embarrassing postseason series. I hope they can learn and bring it in 2024.

Corey Seager is lowkey one of the best hitters ive ever seen, he's so underrated. It's like every time I see an at bat from him he's making hard contact. It always seems like every ball he hits has the potential to go out, and he's not the biggest guy like a Yordan. He's just a pure natural hitter with such great skill. Such a beast

Besides guys like Bryce Harper, he turned out to be one of the best free agent signings this team has ever had. Seems like he barrels up every ball he gets a hold of, and if he doesn’t do that he will force a walk.

Os fan here. First let me congratulate The Rangers for a going on the road and beating two of the best teams in AL. I’m disappointed we didn’t play like we had most of the year. The offense last few weeks was non existent and the pitching showed signs of fatigue. Still extremely proud we won 101 games this year and have a bright future going forward

And you can tell how bad he needed that with his body language. He's been struggling with fastballs so they've been pounding him with it. This might be the trigger that gets him going at the most critical time.

I can't even be mad at the Orioles. To go from over 100 losses in 2021 to 101 wins in 2023 is an amazing turnaround. The future is bright for this team. They just were outmatched by the Rangers.

The Orioles had an amazing season even though their playoff run ended in the ALDS. They've completely turned their team around after years of struggling and rebuilding, and now finally became AL East champs again. The O's have a team full of future stars and will be good for many years to come if they can keep the team together. They just need some better pitching and they could be a WS contender next year. Congrats to the Orioles. Also congrats to the Rangers. If my Astros win tomorrow, our All-Texas ALCS will be fun.

Wow... just wow. No one saw this coming. Lots of neutral fans were cheering for the Orioles bc of how exciting they were to watch but they just completely shut down this series. Desperately struggled to score against a team not known for their bullpen and their pitching couldnt hold Texas back. The Rangers are a team to be reckoned with and they mean business, they'll have tons of confidence going forward now and that's a dangerous thing. They can definetely go all the way

I could see it coming from miles away. Good teams know how to expose glaring weaknesses in other good teams. The Orioles starting pitching staff massively overachieved during the regular season and the rangers exposed the lack of depth. You're not going to win a 3 game series when your 3 starting pitchers go a combined 9 innings. That's a recipe for getting swept and that is exactly what happened.

The Rays,Jays and then The Orioles swept right outta the playoffs while the Red Sox and Yankees battled all season to see who would end up in the basement ! .........Well it seems all that talk about the A.L. East Superiority just came crashing back down to Earth. As a Rays fan myself all I can say is Good luck to the Twins,Astros,Rangers,Dodgers,Braves,Phillies, and Diamondbacks . It’s been fun what’a you say we all get back together next spring.

you must be a new O's fan.. as long as Angelos owns the team odds of them doing jack squat is little. He likes money too much. If anything we may be lucky and he does this one more year to restore a bit of rep to keep butts in seats long enough so the league gets off his back for another decade or so. Pretty sure the only reason the Orioles did so well 2 years in a row is because the league threatened him about attendance numbers.

@@Grisbane been an Os fan since the early 90’s so understand the limitations and also how big contracts like Belle & Davis have crippled us when they get hurt or underperform. We have a good core of young players under our control for at least the next few seasons and a smart GM. Enjoy it while the sun shines and grumble when we don’t dig in our pockets to resign them for what they are worth.

Hate when people use that excuse that the team is young and doesn't have the experience, these are grown men who have been playing baseball all their lives and the game is the same game whether it's regular season or postseason! The Dbacks haven't been to the playoffs in years and are rolling and the Dodgers have made the playoffs 11 consecutive years and are getting killed right now so quite with that bs excuse for losing

Oddly enough, it looks like the rookies were performing for both teams. Henderson was going off for the O's and Jung and Carter for the Rangers. These kids have no fear. I believe both teams will be doing this again next season!

Obviously the season didn't end the way we wanted it to end, but I can't say that I'm not happy. Even as an Orioles fan I'm extremely impressed with that fact that we won the division this year. But because we have such a young group of players who have never been to the postseason before, it visibly hurt us during this series. I just hope that this translates into our 2024 season and that we come back stronger. Go O's!

MLB has seriously have to think about changing the wildcard series. The top 4 seeded teams have to deal with the 5 extra days of rest. Dodgers Braves Orioles have issues with picking up rihthem of every day games. The break is longer then the on during mid season. Granted Rangers and Phillies peak at the right time but one need to question if that has to do with them just continue playing games just like the regular season.

Wanna know how I'm feeling?... Pissed; disgusted; annoyed; disappointed, but... we simply got beat (badly) and humbled. If the O's are meant to be a contender, they'll GET OVER IT and comeback next year, leaving no stone unturned. As for Brandon Hyde... there's a reason Bruce Bouchy has 3 titles. Experience comes with heartbreak. Only thing holding us back is the Angelos Family, so time to quit crying about. GG Rangers✊🏾

Don't worry man, the Rangers and Orioles are basically in the same boat. Years and years of futility punctuated by a good run here and there. At least your organization has won some World Championships, and had the greatest third baseman and shortstop who ever lived, for their entire careers. The Rangers are in their 7th decade with no championships.
