Can you elaborate why Ghaz is better in War Horde vs being in Bully Boyz. Is it cause he overkills with a full squad? He popped off in my last game sweeping an infantry squad, krumped a leman russ tank, then tagged my oppponents backline, and makaris lethals trigged for a few units too. The 6 inch consolidate is nasty.

I didn't believe I ever said he wasn't good . I said the most optimized competitive version of bully don't require ghaz . Ghaz is great in every single way and ranked high on my tier list video. An argument can be made for ghaz in 3-4 out of the 6 detachments. I never ever ever tell people "don't play this , or this is bad " . I've been a ghaz fan since index and made videos about that too

Makari is better with a swarm because more chances to trigger lethal. That's all. Ghaz himself is the same in any army, he just obliterates whatever you point him at.

The reason you don't is because you're already throwing 450 pts on meganobz and 180 pts for tellyporta and 2 megabosses. Paying 100 for the Big Mek is way more reasonable than another 235 in that composition. Not that he isn't a beast. It's keeping him alive and maneuvering him that can be an issue.

@@2ClutchGamers yeah i need more playtime at 2k with him. Ive only used him in one 1500 point game. No tellyporta since im using the battlewagons. Ghaz had a 6 and 5 on his advance rolls so i didnt have a hard time getting him into combat. The other smaller games with bully boyz ive had an issue getting in decent damage, my opponents have had great saves against the low volume. I think id take the third warboss in mega armor vs the big mek. My meganobz have been staying alive fairly easily lately with hiding them during deployment, orky armor of contempt, staging correctly, and fnps.
