The entire drive from Orlando to Miami in August 2022. The entire journey took about 4 hours. I start off at the entrance to Disney World and get lost trying to get past EPCOT. I then take the Central Florida GreeneWay to Florida's Turnpike to the North Miami Beach area to refill gasoline and get a car wash. After, I take I-95 to Downtown Miami past the Miami Heat arena.

I grew up in Orlando pre-Turnpike. The route to Miami was down SR 15 to Holopaw and then 441 to Okeechobee and 710 to the original first part of the Turnpike at W. Palm Beach and then to Golden Glades, again pre-95, so our route to visit family took us down SR 9 and 27th Ave. all the way to Flagler St. Maybe you could try the back roads route next time to or from Orlando and see a bit of old Florida the way it used to be and, mostly, still is.

@@johnx4181 There are still pockets here and there, and more once you get north of I-4. Even within a few miles of the ever-expanding Villages you can still see some of what Florida used to be, if you know where to look.

Disney had a sign advertising the Tower of Terror ride in Hollywood Studios.For years the sign had guests in an elevator move like if the elevator was dropping and then one day it stopped and the sign was motionless but still cool to look at.About a month ago they tore it down for no reason,I guess they didnt want to maintain it any longer.

Hi Jari, Florida is beautiful! I'm in Kent,WA right now. My daughter has been driving me around. Drove down the Coast from Washington to California. My goodness, it's so beautiful. We're not that far from Mt Rainier. It's amazing to see a Volcano covered by snow. The weather has been perfect too, no humidity. But missing home already.

Have been there about twice some years ago, as well other theme park in Paris. I heard this one was closed down due to the technicality of a ride that didn't go well. Moreover I like to go to the Orlando's sea world which I think great place to visit.
