Here we go….
It’s Travel day, for our super exciting trip to Universal Studios and Walt Disney World in Orlando.
We start our day checking in at Manchester Airport and fly with Virgin Atlantic to MCO.
Once we arrive, we travel to our Universal Resort, Endless Summer Dockside.
Once we’ve checked in, we bud over to Islands of Adventure and enjoy Seuss Landing and The Hulk, which we POV the ride.

I absolutely love watching you all, you have such an amazing family❤ I think I trump crazy travel days. September 2023 we had booked a coach to travel from Glasgow to Manchester, this was around the time of train strikes so didn’t want to risk it. Early in the morning we begin the dreaded 5 hour coach journey to Manchester. As soon as we hit the M6 it was clear that a 5 hours coach journey would have been amazing. The M6 was down to one lane and very busy because there was a festival on the way. We were on the coach for not only 5 hours but 15 and a half hours. We were lucky that we had booked a hotel for the night before and weren’t due to fly until the next morning. Everyone on the M6 walking their dogs, and then asking our coach driver if they could use our toilet, of course the toilet broke and was over flowing so for about 13.5 hours of the trip we had no bathroom. Finally just before midnight we arrived at Manchester ready for travel day in a few hours. We have the best holiday but was a great start😂😂

We had our Florida trip in January cancelled with less than a week to go due to emergency surgery luckily my husband is now recovered but watching Scarlett and Sienna again has cheered us up. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Great start guys, looking forward to the next one now so no pressure…….😊 Crazy travel day was for me, last year….. flying out of Manchester with Virgin and running late as “Her” wanted some last minute make up (as they do) instead of me doing the right thing and checking the boarding screens (daddy always knows best) I followed the crowd decked out in Disney holiday wear assuming that was the same flight as us…………… well after the huge walk through the airport to the new-ish stand only to hear a voice saying “this cant be our flight as I can’t see any Virgin planes outside……” she was right, whilst already late we walked 20 minutes in the opposite direction to our gate. We eventually got to our gate somewhat flustered and I was repeatedly reminded of what I’d done throughout the holiday (and whenever I get things wrong these days) It’s true what they say, “behind every great man there’s a woman rolling her eyes” Take care guys from Me, Her and the Ankle Biter

Glad to see you back in Florida ❤ My brother and I went to Atlantis and it took us an hour to drive 20 min to the airport then at the airport another 2 hrs to get through customs then our plane was late leaving we had a connecting flight in New Jersey that we had to run to catch they were closing the doors as we got there they gave my seat away so I had to fly backwards(🤢) thank goodness it was only a 45 min flight. 😊

Great travel day Vlog 😊 we’re off to Florida again in July/August and my 9yr old would also like to try vlogging. We’ve had a go pro for years but wondered what camera you use for vlogging? The Wilsons 😊 p.s we watched Scarlett in the Wizard of Oz and you were great Scarlett ♥️

Argh thanks guys. Very kind. Hope you’ve subscribed. In the main, we use my iPhone 13 Pro Max and then some action cams for different bits (on rides etc) Ps. Thanks for kind words about Scarlett in Wizard, check back a little further there are some more of Scarlett’s performances.

Lush… was there last June… not at that hotel sadly…did walk past it when I decided to walk to universal from my hotel… Must admit cabana bay hotel when I was at volcano bay did look amazing… Was looking at prices this year but it’s gone crazy for how much it’s costing …it was my first time at universal and I loved it even though I still love Disney …but universal was just amazing esp the coaster at Jurassic park…

Great first travel day vlog! Is there a kettle or hot water making facilities in the room? We are there April and debating if we are going to take tea and coffee!

Thank you. There was a coffee pod machine in the room, which does warm up hot water, but we just used the hot water and coffee station in the restaurant each day, which is included if you purchase a resort cup. It was $20 for duration of your trip and includes the soda machines in all resorts.

Which resorts are you able to use the refillable mugs? Is it Cabana Bay, Dockside and Surfside as well as the parks? Many thanks

@HackettFamily hahaha, you can't stop me..... at least I don't think you can. Haha... As for long travel days and not much sleep. When I got married I couldn't sleep. Probably got 3 hours. The night before (Friday night), then the wedding night still couldn't sleep and was awake all night bar about 2 hours, while the now ex-husband was fast asleep. The Sunday was pre travel day, from Devon to Gatwick. Was made longer by breaking down in Reading after petrol was put in a diesel car. Once at the hotel, I probably got 3 hour's sleep then flight and travel to cabbanna Bay. 2 hours passport control. 8 hours sleep in three nights was hard work. And couldn't sleep on the plane as a child was banging my seat most of the time 🙄

Do you also have the Lyft app? Strange how two companies offering the same product can have such different charges. Most people I know have both apps to see who is cheaper. Most drivers I’ve had drive for both companies, and have both identifying decals on their cars at the same time.

Yeah. We use both. Just always found the Uber cars to be cleaner. We’ve have a few smelly Lyft drivers 😂
